The woman serving at the register was less than pleasant to deal with. Upon ordering a "pa" burger, she rudely told me that don't serve these, and when I suggested I was reffering to a "papa" she then harshly told me I should've just said that from the start. I asked for bacon to be added, and with a side of onion rings.When my order came with French fries, I was confused, asked about it- and was told she asked me "3 times" if I wanted fries. I said never mind, and sat down a bit irritated that someone like this was working in a customer service industry.

Not sure why these bad reviews. some are pretty old. I've been going here for years and I've never experienced anything like these others. perhaps it's because when someone has a bad experience they are more likely to comment than if they have a positive experience. This A&W is the best one from Victoria to Nanaimo in my opinion. Don hesitate to stop there!

The girl with long blonde hair in a pony tail deserves a raise or a promotion. It's hard to come by good service workers in the fast food industry, she was very nice and her service was top notch. Great staff.

I called to make sure they were serving breakfast all day but they said they stopp serving it at 11:00 so we boogied down there and had a very very nice plated breakfast ...so I'd highly recommend it!

The people here are hard working, orders are spot on no mistakes. Drive through can be slow which is understandable due to the small facility. Great service, awesome food.Parking: Small parking lot but its at a small facility. Usually no problems.

Great experience at this A&W! After asking about whether the mayo on the beyond burger is vegan, the person taking our order asked the kitchen to clean the grill before making our burgers, which we didn't even request. It was a pleasant surprise at a fast food restaurant. Great service and went the extra mile. :)

A quick trip to the island and we thought we would try an A&W frozen root beer.We went in because the drive through was not moving. The floors were so slippery!!!! Be careful it is actually an accident waiting to happen.
