Stopped for coffee, a muffin and a sandwich on a road trip heading up to the Cathedral Grove old growth Forest. The coffee was flavorful, the muffin was fresh that morning, and so was the sandwich. There were a few tables in there with locals solving world problems.

This coffee, which was born on Vancouver Island in 1994, is now very famous. I saw many chains along the way. Compared to many specialty coffee shops, this one is full of a rural atmosphere and a neighborly feeling. Maybe I went to this one and sat there. Many relationships among older peopleI ordered a latte. To be honest, the milk foam is not very dense, but the aroma and taste of the beans are great. They seem to be Cowichan beans on the island. I will try their London fog next time.
