My husband and I had dinner in the restaurant for our anniversary. All of the food was really superb, the wine was great and the server was lovely! We left nicely full and took some dessert home for later. Just a really nice room and a great vibe. Happy we discovered this place so close to home. We will be back :)

Had a lovely lunch at the vineyard about a week before Xmas. My second time there. My lunch companion had the burger which she loved and especially noted the natural flavour of the beef- definitely from a local farm! My own lunch was spaghetti carbonara and it had a great smokey flavour and the pasta was perfectly firm as it should be. The server was delightful and added ti the pleasant experience. I must say that the lemon tart that we each had was one of the most delicious tarts I had EVER eaten in my life. As a lemon lover I never pass up a lemon tart. Normal tarts are quite acidic and have meringue but this tart was so beautiful to look at. The custard was creamy, the pastry just yielded to the slightest touch of my fork and it was presented on a smudge of sesame paste! On top was a sprig of basil and dehydrated raspberries. It was heaven! I still think of it weeks later! Yes, that’s the tart below and I hope the photo does it justice.

The setting is lovely and the serving staff in the restaurant were friendly and attentive. The menu is very limited and the food is ok not great. The wine prices are outrageous. An 8 oz glass of wine costs almost as much as a full bottle in their store across the parking lot. Can recommend only for the setting

Such a delightful place. The restaurant is spectacular, the old world feel is so special. The staff is delightful, the food and menu is great and the wine list (and the wine) is WOW! Take some time and enjoy, you will not be disappointed.

A dining experience here begins with a smiling welcome as you come through the door almost as if you are family. Chef Dan Bains new menu is exciting to read but even more to taste. The focaccia starter was delicious as were the main courses. We will definitely be returning.

I ordered the 5 oz tenderloin. The meal arrived on a cold plate, therefore, food was not hot. Beef, potatoes and carrots were delicious. The brocolini and endive were supposed to be roasted, however, they were charred and eating the endive was like eating corn husks. Overall, the meal was good, but cold and some parts overdone. A bit overpriced.

The location and wines are excellent - and then the welcoming staff and beautiful plates created at the restaurant top it all off. The food is thoughtfully created with little details that make eating out exciting with an opportunity to try something new - all while highlighting the fantastic wines made here. Celebrate! Get a bottle of (Charmat method Sparkling) Charme de L'Ile to really embrace any occasion. =)

Tasting room is great - fantastic staff. Wine is good quality. However the low star review is for the restaurant. We have not yet eaten here as when we did consider it, we were shocked by the markup on wine in the restaurant compared to their wine shop (which is a stone’s throw from the restaurant so it’s not like there’s transportation fees)… Bottles of wine are 50% more in the restaurant. For the cost of an 8oz glass of wine in the restaurant, plus a couple dollars extra, you can buy a full bottle in the shop! It is absurd. Unsure of their tactic here.

This is a lovely dinner spot. It was our first visit but we were with friends who highly recommended it and they were right! This is fine dining without any stuffiness. Fresh ingredients presented nicely and tasting wonderful. For starters we shared warm olives, baked brie & focaccia. Our entrees were Duck Confit, two Tenderloins and a Swordfish dish. Desserts were Mint Chocolate Mousse, Chocolate Ganache plate and Yuzu Tart. It was all so very delicious, cooked beautifully with rich flavours. Oh, and of course paired with great Unsworth wines.
