Utterly disappointed with our experience here. Came here with my family to grab dinner. They didn't have any highchairs for the little ones.There was one person waiting for his order, and another person waiting to pickup a food delivery service order. It took the staff 10 minutes to even acknowledge us or attempt to take our order.While I was trying to order, the cashier wasn't focused and was still talking to someone in the kitchen. Before I could even finish placing an order, she told me that if we were to order, it would still take 25-30 minute for our order to be ready because they had delivery service orders that they needed to prioritize first.Ultimately, we opted to leave. It shouldn't take 10 minutes to order (when there's only 2 other people in the restaurant) , and potentially another 30 minutes to make the food.This was our first time here, and definitely our last.

Update - April 16Because of the comment below I thought they had genuine interest to understand the issue - emails to them bounce tried for few months even left a message and never received a call back- aligns with my experience--Love noodle box first time this location - allergy to beansprouts reminded and when picked up both had been sprouts - the guy making the food grabbed his phone took a call with gloves on then ran to back finished call was still on phone put back away and continued cooking (no replacement gloves no wash hands) was using tongs didn't say anything then he grabbed someone's noodles by hand filling their box - I asked if they were food safe they said yes then I explained you can't touch food and cell phone.... Not greatest experience but I was compensated for the error and such, the lady at the front was kind and apologetic I just hope they address the sanitation concern - after ate dinner saved my desert spring roll for last... They gave wrong spring roll lol - par for course.-

Waste of money. Ordered two boxes and took thirty minutes to make them dispute being the only people in the store. Both bowls were supposed to be mild but we're so spicy I couldn't eat it. Won't be returning.

Last to last day, I visited Noodlebox with my friends. We all tried new dishes. I loved the food. Male cook there is fantastic and knows the taste. He took the orders and suggested us too.We enjoyed a lot, gonna come soon here.

First time trying out Noodle Box and it was a great experience. I was a bit hesitant to come after seeing some of the reviews, but I think those instances may have been anomalies as I had experienced great food, I ordered kung pao. Guy who was cooking, handling 5 woks at a time, Amazing. I would definitely recommend!!

The staff always seem annoyed when you're ordering. We have been here twice. The first time we asked for mild, it was take out, we got it home and it wasn't even edible because of the amount of spice. The second time we came we ordered the "chicken" curry cashew box. It was not edible, the chicken was rubber and definitely not a protein source but looked like something made out of plastic. Absolutely will not be coming back. Would not suggest to anyone. Disappointing because I am sure it would be a great little spot if they cared about their service and quality.
The spicy peanut box my gf brought home was disgusting. Nothing like the noodle box we used to get in Langford.

I was so excited to get noodlebox tonight, I used to get it on the Island in Nanaimo fairly often. Decided to try the Thai style chow mein with crispy tofu… unfortunately it has almost zero flavour, very slight hint of curry. The noodles are super dry, the veggies seem like they’ve been sitting around all day. The tofu is the opposite of crispy, it’s dry, soggy, chewy. We live 5 min max away and it wasn’t sitting long enough to turn into this. I know, because my bf’s dish was fine, everything in his bowl seemed fresh. I was looking forward to not leaving the house this Sunday but with the cost of food, I can’t justify not going back and getting my moneys worth of something possibly more edible than this. It looks a lot better than it tastes..*Editing and adding a couple stars, I brought the food back and they remade my bowl with a different option at no charge, which I greatly appreciate. However, they mentioned they would never recommend the chow mein dish as they agree it’s flavourless and not very good. They also said there was an issue with the deep fryer. My suggestion to avoid future disappointed customers would be to ask if they’ve had it before.. and suggest a different option if they’ve never had it. Secondly, if the deep fryer isn’t working, it would be better to advise the customer to choose a different protein or suggest plain tofu instead of crispy. You can’t help if there’s crappy dishes on the menu and it’s a chain so you may not be able to remove it, but there’s ways around it by offering different options to avoid disappointment.

I wouldn’t order online pick up from them on any 3rd party apps or on their website, they do not put things as unavailable when they don’t have the ingredients they will just let you order and give you a pick up time when you get there they will let you know they can’t actually make your order. Not to good if your in a hurry or on a lunch break.

Noodlebox has always delivered on quality and quantity. However lately quantity is significantly reduced and this is witnessing over two orders and two items for each order. Service is still great. It is sauces and curry have certainly do not taste the same for someone used to Noodlebox flavors.
