This place is a joke , the people who work here are disgusting in every way possible not only do they mess up on every other order , then don’t even wash their hands between touching stuff .. meanwhile they open up cooked burgers ready to go out and touch it all with their fingers and then continue to touch dirty counters .. it’s absolutely disgusting .. the workers smell like nasty BO ? too .. please do yourself a favor and don’t go to this location it should honestly be closed for how gross the people who work there are ..

MAKE SURE TO ASK FOR YOUR RECEIPTIf I could give negative stars I would. Be sure to ask for your receipt because they definitely won’t give it to you, as that would uncover the fact the staff either cannot understand how to use the till, or they intentionally rip you off by punching in a meal as all separate items. Yes it’s only a few dollars, but also the principal. Plus, we waited 15 mins in drive thru for 3 burgers a regular fries and drink. Watched four cars pass through.

We live nearby and decided to give it a shot. My daughter got a burger and the bun had a spot of mould on it. We took a chance and decided to try again one rushed morning and to our dismay we got another moldy bun. This time I took pictures. Shame on you A&W. Never again!

It was dark, cold and dreary, the employees eyes were weary. I ordered burgers, drinks and onion rings. I rolled up, paid and was given onion.... things. Raw wet panko assault. Where was the onion? The crispy? Onion rings- onion rings-- onion things union

For one of the most expensive fast foods you would think the standards would be better. This location is terrible time and time again. Wilted lettuce, cold food, and missing items on the burger etc etc. If you look at all the reviews on here that are 5 star they are from Punjabi names and that's when this restaurant went downhill is when new management took over. Make the drive to the next one or somewhere else.

I stopped in to get a ringer burger, was told by a clearly uninformed employee that “the promotion ended two weeks ago” I then replied with “that’s incorrect as my friend and I just had one two days ago”. He then responded with “oh well it’s just while supplies last” to which i responded with “hmm funny as it’s just an onion ring and some barbecue sauce”. Will not be coming back to this location as they are clearly uninformed and do not care about customers.

I just had a great Teen Burger at the Woodgrove Mall food court in Nanaimo. Staff was prompt, courteous and the burger was DELICIOUS! Thank you Woodgrove A&W.
