I have gone to Hot Chai many times and have never been disappointed. The service has always been good and fast. The owner has even brought out tasters for free. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is bright and modern. It is in my top picks for Nanaimo.

The chicken fried rice, was the best I've ever had! My sister said the mixed veggies & prawns were great! The coffee was descent as well?
Terrible pad thai I was so sad... Pictures really tricked me.. There was no flavor and no color.

The menu was incredible, the food was delicious, and the venue was great. I sat on the patio outside and enjoyed a very reasonably priced meal. So much better than I expected it to be, a great little spot!

This place is great! The coffee is good, I have been going hear since they opened up. In the summer i can get a cold coffee or a pop and in the winter after i shovel the snow it's great to grab a warm cup. The food is actually unbelievable. Everyone in nanaimo should try this place out!!!
