“I love the feel and atmosphere of this cafe and that it's open consistently throughout the week. Service and setting is great. The menu and display options cover a good selection but quality of ingredients is not consistent which was disappointing (quesadilla with high processed cheese). When speaking to the server it sounds like they don't currently have a manager so orders are not consistent and this is not always the case, but it's suggest asking for specifics before ordering to ensure they are preparing a quality version of their menu. “Tonight we went for a little night cap with our two littles to burn the extra energy and had amazing service from Mel as usual. She always remembers our exact orders and is just very friendly in general. Our 3 year old dropped his grilled cheese and was so upset and she came right over to see if we were okay and right away made another one for him, so sweet! Thank you so much for cheering him up. “Such nice staff and great food and juice!!!I routinely buy the Soba noodle bowls for lunches/dinners (SO DELICIOUS) and they missed a dressing in one and went above and beyond and had it delivered to my house with a complimentary juice!! I’ve never ran to write a review fast enough. So grateful we have a place like this in Nanaimo ???.“
“Today the Sip and Sliders food truck was at woodgrove mall for the mom market, my girlfriend and I enjoyed the sliders very much, the staff are wonderful, very welcoming and full of energy, you won't regret eating here. (Picture attached is the Chipotl-Wee)“
