“This has to be one of the best places in Nanaimo to get fish. We got the 2 piece haddock meal each and it comes with a ton of fries, coleslaw and tartar sauce. The fish is perfectly crispy fish was cooked perfect fries were seriously like biting into fluffy clouds. The service was super friendly and all around great atmosphere. We decided to try here for Valentine’s Day and are so happy we did. The only thing I would suggest is for them to up the size of tartar sauce to the coleslaw container size because it’s so tasty you’ll want more. Absolutely if you are reading this you have to try it. It’s totally worth the price for some extremely fresh fish. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ the portion sizes are huge you can’t tell from the pic but there is a load of fries under the fish. I was so full after a piece and a half. I think ours may have been missing a lemon wedge based off everyone’s photos (ours didn’t have one ) . That would have been the perfect touch lol. Dang it.“

“Best Vietnamese restaurant on the island! We were in Nanaimo for 5 days and stopped by Saigon Kitchen twice for dinner. Food was great and staffs were very friendly! Every dish we had were truly authentic Vietnamese food! Will definitely come back to this restaurant if we visit Nanaimo again. Saigon Kitchen is highly recommended if you’re looking for good Vietnamese restaurant near Nanaimo!“
“Our server Alisha was wonderful and very efficient. The "Dining out Nanaimo" menu was canceled Jan 17 without any notification. We had confirmed it would be when we called for the reservation. When we arrived, we learned that it would not be available. What a disappointment.... and frankly, false advertising. Simply, do better.“
“We've been here a couple times and LOVE the atmosphere and attention to detail in the decor! Service has been great both times and the server was attentive, though it hasn't been very busy in the restaurant so can't say if that might result in a different experience. The food is mostly tasty and not heavily salty or sweet which is refreshing. Meat and veggies are well cooked and fresh, and not overdone, though there's something possibly acidic missing that could be added to give the flavour a bit of punch. Other than that we were happy with our orders of Singapore noodles and cashew chicken, plus egg rolls. We would recommend to anyone looking for simple and tasty Chinese food in Nanaimo, with great ambiance!“
“I wanted to try sushi but was a little nervous to eat raw seafood so the chef was very nice and cooked the salmon & tuna for me and it was delicious! I'm so glad that I stepped out of the box and tried sushi, because now I love it! Paige was our server and she was very sweet and helpful and the manager was very friendly. We will definately eat there again!“

The experience has left us completely satisfied and the flexibility of the menu was so appreciated.
