Was looking for an authentic Nanaimo bar in Nanaimo! My top 3 go-to's in Nanaimo were all closed on a Monday when they are supposed to be open per their hours, what can you do. Did a bit of searching and one site gave an honorable mention to Serious Coffee. Accessibility: None of the doors are accessible and it's very cluttered inside. The staff is very helpful in carrying things but navigation inside is tricky.My tea was excellent and there's a wide selection of pastries and bread products.

I visited this lovely compact coffee shop during my temporary stay time in Nanaimo. It's walk distance to where I lived. Servers are all very friendly and welcome. With quality coffee always for sure.
