“This burrito place is top notch with a relaxed, clean, well-managed vibe. Delicious food, cool atmosphere, and great employees. Sena was our cashier/burrito-maker and he was very kind, welcoming and made us an amazing Tokyo Burrito and Freestyle Fries. We watched him take his time preparing our food and arranging each ingredient with care and attention to ensure the presentation was perfected. He clearly takes his work seriously and cares about the quality of product he makes. No detail too small. This resulted in delicious food that was clearly fresh, made with high-quality ingredients with all the favors and textures well-balanced. While serving the food and briefly chatting he even took the time and attention to straighten a slightly crooked picture frame on the wall.We will certainly be going back for seconds on this same trip.“
“Good Mexican food, two borders away! My pulled pork burrito was ample, with medium "heat" (you can ask for hotter). Staff was friendly, but this restaurant doesn't really come off as fancy - you order at the counter, and they call your name. Eat, and bus your own dishes. El Taco has good food, in a funky atmosphere at a reasonable price. Definitely worth the trip!Parking: Like everywhere in Downtown Nelson, be prepared to get your steps in - mid-afternoon I walked 400m downhill (and back to my car afterwards).“
“A bit tight but great otherwise. Had some fantastic mexican grill with good margaritas, gold guac, and gold vibes. There's also lots of original psychadelic paintings on the walls from a local artist that are on sale for a reasonable price.“
