“I’ve been coming to Sanjo Sushi for a while and the sushi quality is always really fresh. I’ve dined in and tried their teishoku, which was very good and nicely put together.

Their lunch bentos are one of my favourites. They are great value and very satisfying. I’ve also tried Sushi Well next door, but honestly it wasn’t as good as Sanjo in terms of freshness and overall quality.

My only wish is that they offered a dinner bento for takeout, since I don’t always have time to dine in. Other than that, it’s a solid spot that I keep coming back to.”

“Ordered a large Taco Pizza last night easy online order, quick pickup, and super friendly service. The pizza quality was great, just like a classic local spot should be. Only thing I’d suggest is to tweak the taco seasoning a bit it was missing that real taco kick and flavour, and maybe add a bit more ground beef. 😉 Still a solid pizza, and I’ll be back to try a regular one next time!”

I ordered the bluefin tray a, and the sushi that I got was extremely fresh. The nigiri pieces had very large pieces of fish and nothing had a fishy smell. The rolls were also extremely large, my partner and I were very satisfied after eating the tray!

I cannot recommend this place more!”

I pulled up to the drive-thru window and small talked with the young lady. Soon, I was blurting it out. You girls, you all get mammogram! You don't need a doctors referral.
The BK employee then handed me a Crown and said something like I could be Queen for my surgery. You got this! Then the next lady came over and she too brought me a BK Crown.
I was very touched by this moment. When they wheeled me into the OR I thought of the Crown and smiled inside.”

“I often grab a chicken donair for lunch at work. It’s filling and fresh. Sometimes there’s a little line up but doesn’t take long. The amount of sauce is too generous for me and is adjustable as well as the veggies. I have not yet tried their platters and friends tell me it is enough for two meals.

There were some restrictions with credit card usage. I was not able to use my MC, so something to keep in mind before ordering.”

“A while back, my husband, comes home and tells me that one of his classmates told him about this amazing sushi places. So we decide to order. Not only are they delicious, their rolls are super big and amazing. The way they take their time with preparing each roll is just wow. Yes! It's worth it to try them. Soon delicious! “First time having really great tasting food at a cafe (mango wrap). The dirty chai was also spectacular ! Close to Douglas campus and New West skytrain station. It's operated fully by the owner and their partner that tend to lots of customers daily. I'll definitely make sure to come by more often. They were very attentive to customers even during the busiest rush. Small detail, but the groovy music selection also made perceived time waiting in line pass by quickly and comfortably.”

“Huge portion size and delicious food. It’s my first time trying out East African food, so I asked the staff for recommendations and ended up ordering their Massawa Tibs with beef and of mild spice. The beef was flavorful and not salty, and the injera was spongy and a bit sour but good. They even gave me more injera on the side.

The food was just like the pictures but I was pleasantly surprised by the humongous portion size. I’ll say you could order one and share for two people. I ordered one for myself but was left filled to the brim.

The staff was extremely attentive and made sure everything was ok.”

Wasin( not sure about the spelling) who serves us was really kind and friendly, he recommended good things and take care the whole dining time if we need something. The food was really wonderful at all time i have tried other thai restaurants! We had shrimp pad thai , chicken tom yum fried rice and papaya salad. All are perfect taste and we would love to have papaya salad more spicy ( may be next time order the spicier one). And i had the coconut mini glutinous rice ball dessert for to go, the mochi balls are so chewy and the coconut milk taste is very perfect and matching! We really had a great time and will definitely come back next time!”

“Authentic Northern Chinese hand pulled/cut noodles. We ordered a spicy cold noodle and an order of pork and vegetable dumplings (SUPER JUICY), the portions were pretty big and the price is reasonable. Family run restaurant with a lot of options. Will definitely come back again. We wish we had more time and people with us so we could have ordered MORE.

“My wife and I just had lunch at Pho Maxima and everything was absolutely delicious. I ordered the pork spring rolls and the beef ball noodle soup pho, and my wife had the chicken ball noodle soup pho; both dishes were incredibly flavorful and comforting.

The service was amazing, and the woman who helped and served us was so kind and welcoming, which made our visit even better. This was our first time here, but it’s definitely become our new go-to spot for pho. Overall, an amazing experience from start to finish. Highly recommend!”
