“I have tried this place on and off for a few years and they have consistently been good. Went back today after a while to have the lahmajoun and another flatbread and was pretty happy with both dishes. The flavours and taste is very authentic so if that’s what you are looking for, give them a visit. Decent portion sizes as well. The dips are absolutely delicious too!”

“We met up with friends for dinner at this restaurant we had seen on social media. We ordered a variety of appetizers, including sashimi, sushi, a dinner combo, and tempura. While everything was delicious, except for the tempura, which was given to us a second time, the coating was too heavy and thick, making it heavy and not light. Otherwise, the food was great, and the staff was fantastic, friendly, and attentive to our drinks.”

They are large and fresh Everytime i come. They got combos and 6-8 rolls for $6.00 a round. Or full boxes for 13.95. Absolutely amazing and a must try. The scenery and decor takes me back to a Japanese diner in a small town. Businesses only survive in Vancouver is the food is consistent and great! Thank you and God bless”

I pulled up to the drive-thru window and small talked with the young lady. Soon, I was blurting it out. You girls, you all get mammogram! You don't need a doctors referral.
The BK employee then handed me a Crown and said something like I could be Queen for my surgery. You got this! Then the next lady came over and she too brought me a BK Crown.
I was very touched by this moment. When they wheeled me into the OR I thought of the Crown and smiled inside.”

“First time visiting this local gem, and I loved the old-school vibe—especially on a sunny day! One glance and you can see the whole place, which adds to its simple, classic charm.

The Montreal sandwich and poutine were excellent, and they went perfectly with a real banana shake—awesome stuff!

Just go check it out. Keep in mind there’s no public washroom, and it’s a very simple place, but that’s part of what makes it unique.”

“We had a great experience here at Cocknet Kings. We had the pleasure of being served by 'Kat with the Hat' - a great hostess. We ordered the Signature Soup - a nice start to the food. We ordered a combo dinner of Snapper & Haddock - the snapper fish was really soft and delicious. The haddock another specialty treat. Both were served with coleslaw salad, Roll & butter and chips (French fries) which was really tasty

We further ordered their homemade lemonade which was a nice refreshing drink after the food. Really reasonable prices for the meal with great customer service. We highly recommend this amazing restaurant with their warm staff.”

“This was our first visit and we immediately fell in love with this cafe. From the beautifully decorated interior and art pieces to the music, the staff, and the overall vibe — everything about this place feels special and thoughtfully put together.

I ordered the hojicha latte while my husband had a drip coffee. The hojicha latte was hand-whipped and incredibly aromatic — I could actually smell the roasted tea fragrance before taking the first sip. My husband said the drip coffee was excellent as well.

We also found out that the cafe turns into a bar at night and hosts all kinds of events like open mic nights and magic shows, which makes the place even more interesting.

Such a fun and unique spot. Definitely somewhere I’d love to come back to and explore more.”

“Vadapav Mirchi is one of our favorite places to eat whenever we visit Vancouver. We’ve been coming here for the last three years, and the food has been consistently excellent every single time.

The Vada Pav is fantastic and takes me right back to Maharashtra. We also loved the Bhajji, Thalipeeth, and Sol Kadi each one was full of authentic flavors and tasted just like what you’d find back home. What stood out the most on our recent visit was the Puran Poli and Amti. The Puran Poli tasted just like the one my mom makes at home, which is probably the best compliment I can give. It’s not often you find that kind of homemade flavor in a restaurant.”

We ordered their famous plate: Pork Galbi Ssam plate, Galbi-Tang, K-Rose Pasta and they were all very yummy.

The cafe is small. Very little decorations.
The staff were all very nice and attentive.
The price is somewhat expensive as compared to other cafes or restaurants.

The parking lot is small and there's a lot of traffic as there's a bottle depot sharing the same parking lot. I wish they have a better parking lot.”

“I was in New West for a meeting, so after I was hungry. I had a choice, it was either McDonald's or across the street Jim's Cafe. I decided to give Jim's a try,and I'm sure glad I did. The atmosphere was great, service was wonderful and the food was just great!! To bad I live in North Vancouver, otherwise I would be at Jim's almost everyday. “While touring the area and sightseeing around the Fraser River, we found this lovely little café nearby. The soup and wraps were absolutely delicious. The chef was very courteous and friendly and even took the time to come out and explain the special ingredients he adds to his wraps, which are made fresh daily. That personal touch made the experience feel even more welcoming.
The server was also very friendly and attentive, checking back to make sure everything was okay despite how busy the café was.
The coffee, food to dessert was delicious, the service was fast, and the overall experience was wonderful. We’re so glad we stopped in and would definitely visit again.

“I've been to Massawa three times now, and every visit has been a great experience. The staff are always incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, making you feel right at home. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and high quality. Their steak sandwich is especially outstanding—definitely one of my favorites and something I keep coming back for. “I visited Pho Maxima Restaurant because I had been craving authentic Vietnamese food, and it was a great choice. The moment I walked in, I noticed it was a small and casual place, not fancy but very welcoming. The vibe felt like a neighbourhood favourite where locals come back again and again.

I ordered a bowl of pho with beef brisket and rice noodles, and it was rich and comforting. The broth was fragrant with warm notes of star anise and cinnamon, and it hit the spot on a chilly day. The noodles were cooked well and there was a generous amount in the bowl.”

“Hearing about this place sounds very interesting and I want to give this place a try. Had no idea it was already closing time and felt bad, but I really wanted a smoothie. However, I had a really great experience here. The young lady behind the counter was kind and did her best to help me even though it was past the closing time. You could tell she was in the middle of end-of-day cleanup, but she still stayed professional and made my smoothie with care.

I think people forget that workers are human beings and closing procedures are a real thing and that employees have their own lives. End-of-day rush is stressful and I don’t think it’s fair to judge someone’s whole character off one moment. The smoothie regardless was great, and I appreciated the effort and patience. I’ll definitely be back for more!”

This last time we ordered Grilled lemongrass Chicken & Pork and Grilled lemongrass Pork & Spring rolls(pictured ) Service is excellent, the server checked in several times, lots of quality checks and very polite. The AC is delightful.
