This place is a gem! Most of their menu is vegan so their is lots of options. Vegan pho, rice platters and lots of different types of vegan salad rolls with vegan meat. The tofu in the pho is delicious! We had spicy and regular pho and the vegan ginger chicken and vegan lemongrass chicken salad rolls.
Reasonably priced as well and good portion sizes!
Would definitely come again!

Terrible place, definitely not homemade, not authentic in anyway. The ancestors must cry at what the owner serves. Go to a wonderful, traditional Vietnamese Restaurant instead.

Usually I try to only support fully vegan or vegetarian restaurants, but this place is delicious, and is a good place to go with those friends or family members that think they need meat for every meal. I really enjoyed the Vietnamese coffee!!!

Hits the spot when you're craving soup and is the only thing in the area. Broth is tasty. BBQ pork slices are thin and fillings are small in wontons. I found a shrimp tail in my wonton soup and my coworker who ordered lemongrass chicken pho said it tasted more like duck meat. Hers was greasier than mine and she couldn't finish it. Hours are very short as they're open 11-3pm. I'm a soup lover so I'll probably be back eventually but prices are steep compared to the portion sizes.

I realized though that if you were going by how they present themselves you might think everything there is vegan. Heck, it's not even an all vegetarian place. While they have a huge selection of vegan meats, they do serve real prawns in one dish and real ham and real pork on another. They are pretty good about labeling the menu though and the staff is knowledgeable about what is vegan. My favourite food to get is the vegan ginger chicken banh mi, the vegan Vietnamese salad rolls, and the vegan curry noodle soup. Honorary mentions are the Vermicelli Salad Bowl, and the vegetable daily soup cup is always a good side for something light and tasty.

V Cafe is one of my favourite places to eat! I love their combos and their range of vegan 'meats'. Their salad rolls are tasty, too. My favourite are the lemongrass chicken and citrus spare-rib. Prices are affordable and good portions. I usually order take out and have always been happy with my food!

I had the lemongrass chicken pho here a couple weeks ago and it was amazing!! The owner Tommy was super nice. Even the tea was flavourful. It's a quiet spot to eat. Will definitely be coming back.

Had combo 1 & 2. Pho sadly spilt a bit in transit
Pho is good and packed with veggies, tofu, and vegan beef, but didn't like the "dumplings". The rice platter is just okay, the vegan meat had a sour taste, and the yams with peanut noodles were very dry. Rice and salad were good. The spring rolls didn't really taste like anything, and were over cooked.
Both came with strange sauces that I think were sweet and sour sauce for the springs rolls and maybe salad dressing but they had the consistency of water and didn't taste like anything so didn't use them.
I'll try the bahmi next time…
