Hits the spot when you're craving soup and is the only thing in the area. Broth is tasty. BBQ pork slices are thin and fillings are small in wontons. I found a shrimp tail in my wonton soup and my coworker who ordered lemongrass chicken pho said it tasted more like duck meat. Hers was greasier than mine and she couldn't finish it. Hours are very short as they're open 11-3pm. I'm a soup lover so I'll probably be back eventually but prices are steep compared to the portion sizes.
Don't get me wrong, I love V Cafe. I've been eating there for years and is one of my go to places. I realized though that if you were going by how they present themselves you might think everything there is vegan. Heck, it's not even an all vegetarian place. While they have a huge selection of vegan meats, they do serve real prawns in one dish and real ham and real pork on another. Usually I try to only support fully vegan or vegetarian restaurants, but this place is delicious, and is a good place to go with those friends or family members that think they need meat for every meal. I really enjoyed the Vietnamese coffee!!!
