Portions are very generous and the people there are very nice. Taste good and very close to what you’ll get in Korea for Chinese Korean food. I love the tangsuyuk because its so crispy, they separated the sauce also and as usual you can debate your friends whether you want to pour or dip it lol.

I went back after a long time and it was still so delicious..ㅠㅠ❗️❗️I ordered black bean noodles, vegetable jjamppong, and sweet and sour pork, and they were all good. In the past, Jjajangmyeon didn't seem to have potatoes in it, but it did contain potatoes and it felt like there was a lot more meat❗️Jjajang with potatoes ㅜㅜ???? It was really good, it was like old-fashioned Jjajang.Sweet and sour pork is a taste that I fall in love with every time I come to eat it.. ?Vegetable Jjambbong is clean, spicy and awesome Please continue the business for a long time..

Delightful, delicious lunch. I had Jjampong (spicy seafood noodle soup). A refreshing, fiery daikon radish appetizer was included. The Jjampong portion was generous, full of seafood. The noodles in the savory chicken broth were perfectly el dente. The lovely staff is kind, efficient, and friendly. Just a small restaurant, easy to pass by, but what culinary wonders can be found here.

It's the best. It's hard to find a Korean-style Chinese restaurant like this in Canada, but it's really delicious, especially the shaved radish that comes as a side dish... It's better than in Korea... The staff is so friendly and the prices are affordable, so I really like it!!!

Gahyangru’s Ganjjajang was excellent. Of course, the fried sweet and sour pork was also really good. It was a good food that suited my taste, with both crunchy and chewy texture, something I couldn't find anywhere near Vancouver. However, I have not yet been able to verify whether this quality will always be maintained, so I will leave a comment later. However, what I think is disappointing about this store isAfter washing the dishes, food comes out on dishes that haven't been dried yet,Even with the dishes I bought at IKEA, many of them have teeth. It's something like food being served to the state. The mistake many restaurant owners make is thatI think the places where it is okay to use dishes are Vancouver or North America. With the comment, "Well, even if you go to another Canadian restaurant, Inaga bowls are served the same way. What~~~!"...Shall we tell Gordon Ramsay what happened when he handed out the empty plate to the customer? There's an uproar. The words I tried to express my hope for Vancouver to become a place where people can learn only good things and eat only good things were too long.Anyway, I hope people will think that I wrote this with more love because it is a rare restaurant that has a food philosophy and even runs Nanjawan's, which others don't bother to do.If there is any good development next time, I will leave a review again.

Jjambbong and sweet and sour pork are so delicious that you don’t even think of Korea.Highly recommended!**The chef may have changed around the summer of 2023, but the sweet and sour pork is not as good as before. I won't go there again after that.

I really really really wanted to love this place. Even after they accidentally gave me meat or seafood in my vegetarian black bean noodles multiple times, I kept going back to try to satisfy my craving and I kept being disappointed. We've ordered from here three times on doordash and there has always been a mistake and we've had to come back to get it changed. We lose so much of our time trying to get what we ordered that it's not worth it anymore. Especially, when we call and ask them if we could have it remade, which they did for us, but they suggest that we didn't order vegetarian when we did. I don't know if it's a language barrier thing but I would say be open-minded to it if you don't have any modifications to your order. They do have generous portions! The black bean noodles are very heavy on the onion if you were interested in ordering it. They could also use some more sauce to properly coat the noodles. The restaurant itself is very cozy and homey.

A real Korean-style Chinese restaurant I found in North Vancouver. The crispy sweet and sour pork and spicy jjamppong are the best. Taste it once.

.I called them yesterday around noon on December 27. I had already decided what to order before calling them but asked if they still had a specials combo that I had enjoyed at the restaurant quite a while ago.The staff member who answered my phone informed me that the special was no longer available. She then suggested that I visit their website to check their menu because she was busy and needed to help others at the restaurant. She made this statement less than a minute after answering my call.Despite informing her that I already knew what to order, she was not willing to take my order and reiterated the suggestion to check their website.Terrible customer service and the worst experience with a restaurant. If she was too busy to take an order, she should not have answered the phone in the first place.

I've been a regular at Ga Hyang Ru, our family's favorite Korean-Chinese restaurant. It's a popular spot among Koreans for authentic tangsuyuk, jjajangmyun, and jjampong. Personally, I find their tangsuyuk and jjampong to be the best in town - truly unmatched in flavor and quality. Additionally, the spacious parking is a big plus, making each visit hassle-free. Highly recommend for anyone craving delicious Korean-Chinese cuisine!
