“I honestly hate to give anybody a five-star review. Is extremely rare for anyone to deserve a five-star review these days. I had never been to this restaurant before but I guarantee I'll be back. My wife and I stopped in for dinner. From the time we were greeted at the door until the time we left the experience was exceptional. Service was on par with the best anywhere. Food was simply amazing and the presentation was wonderful.”

“We had an early dinner reservation tonight for a birthday dinner. We arrived early and were seated right away. Being a Tuesday it was quieter. The service we received was 5 stars. Vanessa was fantastic, every need was met before we even knew we needed it! Cocktails and mocktails were very tasty. Highly recommend a mezcal ceaser!
We shared many many plates and enjoyed the quiet restaurant we basically had to ourselves. Some favourite were the hummus, Elma pide and the lamb. Top notch all around!”

“We ate at La Casa last night to celebrate my birthday. I ordered lamb lemonado. I cut into the lamb and I hit bone that was covered with a layer of fat, I peeled off the fat and it looked like vertebra with very little meat. I ate thee meat and the fat as my hunger over came me. I have had lamb at La Casa several times before and it was excellent but last nights lamb was not acceptable. I should have complained last night but I didn't want to ruin a festive occasion but if this is what you serve now, I will be dining at another establishment.”

“In late April 2023, we were blessed with a pretty fantastic winetasting experience here.Kelly was very friendly and inviting, and I felt fortunate at the amount of time that she spent, explaining the evolution of this winery. I say fortunate, because we were able to go behind the scenes and look at the tasting room while it was under construction. in fact, we were blessed enough to be able to take a look at all of the developments of this fairly new location. You wouldn’t know it, but they have an entire production facility, right downtown, complete with everything you need to make the wine… Large tanks, barrel storage, everything. It was quite something to see.Back to the tasting, we enjoyed our tasting at the bar in the restaurant. They had a decent selection of very good wine like evolve sparking wine, Chardonnay Pinot blancwhite effervescence which was Chardonnay Pinot blanc I think she said,a different version of that followed by 2021 Pinot GrisAnd more.A note about the restaurant, they Source their proteins/meat from locally grown, organic, where possible. you can see some of the meat as it’s ‘dry aging.’ They will take one of these hunks of meat, and cut your steak They cook it. I don’t know any other place in the Okanagan that does this. We were told that their menu is pretty much constantly changing, as nothing will be served if it isn’t fresh or Current, as far as locally sourced as much as possible, is concerned. This restaurant takes its food very seriously, and you’ll know this when you dine here.Overall, it was a very good tasting experience, located right down in Penticton, BC. if you have some time, I recommend checking this place out.Other notes:The entire facility is located in a heritage building, so there were some limitations imposed upon how much change they could make.There won’t be any other tasting bar like this in the Okanagan, they’ve made quite the effort to capture the wine tasting, “cocktail culture“ fine dining, a shared place, with some private rooms for you to book a more intimate function and/or events. I think they’ve even had at least one proposal planned on this location :-)”

“First appearances were beautiful. The layout is lovely and they have very nice merchandise available. We were fortunate to experience the wine and chocolate pairing. Our tasting guide was very personable and knowledgeable, giving us an adequate break down of each wine.”

“October 21, 2024. We dine at @ Earls about every two weeks. Their food is well prepared, and thoughtful presented. we did not give 5 stars because they put way too much salad dressing on. One must ask easy on the dressing or ask for it on the side. On a different note... this is for management. The Windows are so streaked and dirty it makes the atmosphere somewhat less desirable as it has nice views of the mountains which are obscured by the dirty windows. Also, above table 105/1 a Vent grate is in need of cleaning. Earls is our go to restaurant and will continue to visit there, especially at happy hour. Ribs and Cajun Chicken, my favourite.”

“This was one of the wineries that we visited on our Naramata Bench wine tour. The staff member that we had the tasting with was very informative. She taught us not only about the wines/how they are made but also shared information on how we go about tasting the wine. The vibe of the winery was very down to earth. “The best Ice Cream in Penticton! The service is extremely friendly and the ice cream is really THE best! You definitely need to try the Salted Caramel and/or Vanilla ice cream. If you like healthy "Ice Cream" then choose their Sorbet! Good organic coffee and reasonable prices! We go there every week in Summer, sometimes every day :-) I like that you do not need to buy a BIG portion of Ice Cream If you do not like it, you can just order baby/dog size :-) Love it!”

“after having an extremely unnerving experience at a local bar, my friends and i needed to blow off some anxious energy and have fun in a place where we felt safe. we did not want to end our night on the town in penticton early and on a bad note so we headed to the hub, only having heard good things. while the drinks and food were amazing and affordable, most notably, the staff (bartenders, servers, and bouncers) were so kind, caring, and understanding… having been visibly shaken up from our time at said previous bar. the energy from the staff alone had us immediately feeling better while the band (shoutout to cobra radio!!) and the crowd ensured our spirits were fully lifted. i would recommend the hub to anyone looking for a comfortable, affordable, and fun spot to have a beer or listen to some live music in penticton! already looking forward to coming back.”

“Due to the covid pandemic, we celebrated my birthday at home this year. To make it special, my sister got me an ice cream cake from Dairy Queen. Because chocolate is my favourite flavour, she got me a very tasty log cake. With chocolate soft serve and chocolate crunch on the inside, this decadent cake was surrounded by chocolate fudge then wrapped in a thick outside coating of chocolate/vanilla ice cream sprinkled with chocolate crumbs and birthday decorations. Not only did we enjoy it for my birthday but because this cake serves eight, we continued to celebrate for a few more days!!”

“I love this place! I’ve been many times and I’ve never been disappointed. I was just there with a few friends for my birthday and I got a free spaghetti dinner. Nice of them to offer that. There was even some live music, not a band or anything but a couple of different singers with their guitars and both were really good. Just nice, mellow music to accompany a great meal and some drinks. The food, service and atmosphere is always really good. So far my favourites are the Seafood Lasagna and Sicilian. I always look forward to going back here.”
