My organization had planned a pub night fundraiser with Brew Street. Less than 24 hrs prior to our event, via text message at 10 p.m., they told us that due to low volume of pre-sold tickets they were changing our location to one that was far less convenient and out of the way from our clientele. My friend made a reservation for my birthday for 6pm, which was confirmed by the restaurant. When we showed up at 6pm, we were told that they were doing repairs and that if we wanted to come back in an hour they would be open. There were no signs in the door indicating this and from what I observed, there were no emergent repairs being done nor were there any repair vehicles anywhere in the parking lot/area. We had a reservation for 9:30am - which is when the restaurant opened. We waited until 10:15am and the doors were still locked! Nobody would let us in! The service, consistency and quality of this restaurant has been on a downward slide for a while but now to not even open the doors yet accept a reservation is completely unacceptable for any establishment!
