Waitress was very good , friendly and made sure your coffee was always full . The food was cooked perfectly and at a fair price. I had sirloin steak and eggs easy over (not hamberger steak) , steak was cooked perfect to request and was nice and tender. My partner had BLT , also said it was delicious.
We took our family of 5 here to eat while visiting PG. Right away the server was super friendly and accommodating for our kids and newborn baby. She let me set the carseat on the opposite table and recommended food for the kids. Service was fast as well, and our meals arrived in about 10 mins. Restaurant was clean and mostly empty, which was great since our kids wouldn't disturb anybody. Portion sizes were HUGE, which is great for truckers and a breastfeeding mom, too. Classic, non-pretentious road diner. Often, that's just what you are looking for. Friendly staff, good prices & a surprisingly diverse and full menu. What you see, is what you get.I'm hoping Husky House will continue to be a staple of the Canadian roadside.
