“I have one complaint. You guys need to do better with your take out packaging. When someone orders a Phò to go.... serve the noodles dry in a separate container so that it doesn't turn to mush. So disappointing to pay 40 bucks for something that looks and tastes like Baby food. Fix the packaging and this problem goes away. There is another store in town that figured it out. I'll be ordering from there until this is fixed.”

“Where do I begin? First off the service is top notch friendly and accommodating. My husband had surgery and required food that had low to no sodium. I explained this to the waitress and she was knowledgeable on the best items to order and difference in how things are seasoned and overall knew her menu. She went above and beyond talking to the kitchen and packed our order to go making sure we had all the fixings to make it a great meal for the dietary concerns we were working with. I went back for day two as we are from out of town and they were just as accommodating and made sure everything was labelled no salt and such. From the well-proportioned decently priced food selections, to quality oldies music (played from a personal playlist, not the radio), to the careful attention to decorative detail, there was so much to enjoy about being here at Ristretto Coffee House.My girlfriend and I decided to go out for lunch and treat ourselves to a light meal. A cold sandwich and a warm drink is what we ended up settling our minds on, which hit the spot perfectly this February 13th. Actually, we ordered specialized drinks for the “holiday” - hers, the Rose Latte, mine was the Mint To Be , a white chocolate and mint mocha. They make their own special in-house syrups for flavour shots for the many drinks they have up to choose from. We ordered both of the vegan sandwiches , (not the breakfast sandwich, though funnily enough we might return to try it because we liked our stay that much) and obviously apparent they put lots of care into all they do. The food was flavourful and sat well in my stomach because of the choice in healthy ingredients.The service was just what I’d hoped from a corner cafe, greeted us with warmth at the til , ordered our stuff and was gently called for when our food/drinks were ready. I liked how the drinks are made in view so that I was also able to thank the lady who made our drinks as well. All in all a great time for anyone who enjoys that hidden gem kinda place, but shhh don’t tell anyone I told you!”

“We had a Christmas party here for 65 people. We booked for the buffet style and found the food was generous and very tasty with a reasonable selection. The room was laid out very nicely with round tables and the sound system and bar prepared for us. Bar drinks were not included in the meal price but it was well stocked and well priced. The staff were friendly and jumped to help with anything we asked for. We are already booking for next year.”

The lamb korma, butter chicken, and palaak panner were delicious with plenty of sauce for sopping up with garlic and basil Naan and mango chutney. I understand that we were a large party and mistakes happen, but she argued about a mistake being made and we had to ask her about it several times before she brought the meal out. Atmosphere is subjective. It was too loud for me and I had to shout to make conversation, however if you want to go somewhere to watch a game and be as loud as you want, you're going to love the atmosphere.”

It should be described as Greek Meal for 2 Lumberjacks or 4 normal people, cuz this was big food! Delicious, but Big! Great staff, and Kudos to them. Get out and support your local eateries. If you’re in PG and have a hankering for Greek (They have a lot more too) stop into the Bon Voyage Restaurant on Hwy 16 at the top of the hill. You won’t regret it!!!!!”

Skip placed me with the same driver, so I called DQ and asked if they could just make sure the driver didn’t mess up. I know it’s not their job, but I wasn’t feeling well and I just really wanted food. Makayla reassured me she would mention it to the driver and to call back with any issues. An hour later she called me back to check-in to make sure my order was received in good order and that I was happy. “Visited the bar last night to have drinks, near the end of the night I got “cut off” due to being diabetic. How I manage my health shouldn’t be up to the establishment. I had everything on me I needed to manage my condition. When asked to repeat himself the kid (bartender) avoided me and hid behind his manager Adam who backed him. “I absolutely love Mucho burrito but my experience last night was terrible. The guys who was there around 8:30pm was absolutely not happy to see us there. I went there with my sister who came to Canada recently and wanted to show her how amazing the burritos here are. He was do impatient while making the two burritos and I could clearly see on his face. He did not even give us tray even after telling him that we will be staying here to eat. I really wish if he could have greeted us with a genuine smile, our experience there could have been way more better. Again I still love the place!”

“I ordered the seafood pasta. My family came in from out of town, and they were craving duck. We love supporting local, so we decided on White Goose. The food was amazing, as usual. Our server was great and attentive, even with how busy they were tonight. My only issue is that we reserved a spot for 6, because normally that's how many of us join my parents when they come to town. We always have 6. So, we reserved a table for 6, but as it was time to attend dinner, the others slowly bailed at the last minute, as we were already seated. We have no control over others, and after appies, one of the other servers continually and loudly kept announcing, "They reserved a table for 6, and there's only 3 of them." I can understand her frustrations, but it wasn't on purpose or controllable. It was heard all across the restaurant every time she said it (about 3x). It wasn't a good feeling to be singled out like that, especially when we fully intended to have 6 people, but ended up with 4. Other than that, the food was amazing and the service was great! I'd highly suggest going! I ordered the seafood pasta. Amazingly rich with flavor, and it's very filling.”

“This was the first time being here. I went for a comedy show and the choices of menu items (food) were limited. Keep in mind this is during covid so the kitchen may have been closed. Staff are super friendly and the event was fun. The environment was nice and clean and I hope to return soon. Cheers!”

“I passed through PG today and stopped at my favorite sushi restaurant but saw it was under new managment. I had a teriyaki bento box and WOW!!! was it great.. large portions of tasty food tempura salad desert california roll. EXCELLENT. It has surpassed my old favorite in the same location. I have travelled a lot and am older and PG sushi is my favorite! Its a destination restaurant. I would give it an extra star so 6 out of 5.”

“I went to Kodiaks for lunch with a friend and we had a very pleasant experience. The first thing one notices is that the restaurant is bright, clean, and welcoming. Our server was quite prompt, very polite, and helpful. I ordered the steak sandwich with the soup of the day, which was taco soup. The soup was very flavourful; however it was mild, not spicy. I enjoyed that course. The steak sandwich was served open face. It was cooked exactly the way I requested and it was tender and delicious. For dessert we both had apple strudel. We found every course to be prepared nicely. We received good value, great service, and fine food. We certainly will return.”

Actually, we ordered specialized drinks for the “holiday” - hers, the Rose Latte, mine was the Mint To Be , a white chocolate and mint mocha. They make their own special in-house syrups for flavour shots for the many drinks they have up to choose from. We ordered both of the vegan sandwiches , (not the breakfast sandwich, though funnily enough we might return to try it because we liked our stay that much) and obviously apparent they put lots of care into all they do. The food was flavourful and sat well in my stomach because of the choice in healthy ingredients.The service was just what I’d hoped from a corner cafe, greeted us with warmth at the til , ordered our stuff and was gently called for when our food/drinks were ready. I liked how the drinks are made in view so that I was also able to thank the lady who made our drinks as well. All in all a great time for anyone who enjoys that hidden gem kinda place, but shhh don’t tell anyone I told you!”
“Arguably the best dining we’ve had in PG with quality food. Even when it’s busy we found food came quickly. Once, when ordering takeout, the cook heard our toddler was in hospital and she went above and beyond for her, it was a massive blessing and surprise.”

I understand that we were a large party and mistakes happen, but she argued about a mistake being made and we had to ask her about it several times before she brought the meal out. Atmosphere is subjective. It was too loud for me and I had to shout to make conversation, however if you want to go somewhere to watch a game and be as loud as you want, you're going to love the atmosphere.”

Flavor wasn't there either for the steak. I can make it better at home. Kids Mac n cheese was super bland as well. I would go back but stick to burgers.
