I love having a winery in the Lower Mainland. Country Vines makes delicious, affordable wine and the staff are always friendly. They have live music in the nice weather outside on their patio and it's fun to see the working farm aspect of it. All the wine is easy to drink and I especially love the sparkling wines and the rose. Their Suzie Q Riesling is my favourite! A treat for German Riesling fans. Highly recommended.
Can we take a moment and just appreciate the people that work here? Yes, the place itself is awesome, yes the wine is good, but what really makes Country Vines special is the people. From the warm smile at entry to the knowledgeable information provided with every bottle, Country Vines is a staple of Richmond.
