Food Poisoning Alert!I’ve been going to this restaurant for many years when it grandpop was making Laksas and it was super busy. Now literally no one was there and prices were $14 for laksa at a food court talk about greed.I got so sick eating this I almost had to go to emergency as I think maybe the owner uses ingredients that expired, picture you can’t really tell maybe because of oil and coconut soup? Literally almost dead eating this as I could taste any problem other than bland taste compared to when grandpa used to cook it. Had to take serious meds to get better as my trips to toilet was horrendous with so much pain in my stomach. Never again I will go back here, now I see why this place wasn’t as busy as before. You’ve been majorly warned.

I enjoyed the food, but the person operating the till went out of her way to be helpful and accomodating. It’s cash only, but she let me do an Interac etransfer. She also brought out my food to me: I’m on crutches right now and was with my family, so one of them could have gone to get it (which was the plan). It showed a lot of kindness to bring my food to me, something that meant a lot to me in the moment. That’s worth quite a bit, in my opinion. (Next time I go, I’ll remember to bring cash! :))

Not sure why so many people highly recommended this place for laksa…I tried the fish ball laksa, and it’s bland and flavourless…it’s quick to serve, which means they have the base soup and add whatever we order to the soup, so that’s why it tasted things were irrelevant in the soup. I could taste coconut milk from the bottom of the soup. I would expect more for a $12 laksa.

Malaysian place in the Pacific Plaza food court. Looks like this counter has been around for a while. Parking is available in the mall parkade. Staff are friendly. Booth is run by 1 guy. As the place looked Malaysian, I decided to try the beef rib laksa. There are several variants (basically different types of meat available). This place uses vermicelli instead of egg noodles. Overall not bad. The beef ribs were basically 2 large chunks of meat, with the bones attached. Served with half a boiled egg, some tofu puffs and fish cake, and some basil leaves. Nothing special but the dish did hit the spot. I'd come back.

Been eating here since the parents owned the business. Delicious Hainan chicken, they only make a certain amount daily and sells out fast. This is to ensure quality. Yum! Almost forgot the photos, took them half way through eating.

First time reviewing here but is a frequent customer for 10+ years. Always a favourite of mine for laksa. I usually get the chicken laksa but went for the beef short rib laksa that seems to be new on the menu. Laksas here have a creamy coconut base and a mixture of both thin and thick noodles that I find unique. They’re paired with toppings such as fried fish cake, eggs, fried tofu, and a protein of your choice. Chicken laksa is always great. Beef short rib could be a little more tender. I’ve had other dishes from here and have always liked them. All in all, great portions, flavours, and prices! Will keep coming back.

I came to Taikoo food court around 530 and a lot of what i wanted to eat was sold out. Therefore, I opted for the standard laksa. At $14, i thought the laksa was pretty meh. It came with 4 prawns, a small sliced boiled egg, some tofu(?) thingy and bean sprouts. The noodle consists of a mix of vermicelli and round noodles. The major disappointment was that the soup was neither thick nor flavorful. It was watery and as if the vendor cheaped out on adding a teeny bit more sauce. Also, the portion was not very generous. Usually when i order from other restaurants and vendors, the dish would come with other toppings such as fish balls and tofu puff, plus the portion was a bit more. This was my third time trying this vendor after a long time as i was also not impressed by previous visits. I don't think I'll ever go back again. This is more of a 2.5 stars experience.

Used to come here a lot but the food has gone a bit downhill, I’ve noticed ingredient got cut from the dish as well. Owner was very rude, only nice to Cantonese speakers, over rated place. There’s better options in

unfortunately I cannot recommend this place, the Lobster Laksa was extremely watery and lacked flavor and I don't know where they source the lobster from but it had a very strong chemical taste to it.we go 2 other dishes that were below average as well.

Usually eat at Gee when we go to Pacific Plaza. However, I was surprised today to see it closed.I hope Gee reopens or leaves a forwarding address. Love their food very much.

Tried the Lobster Laksa after watching a YouTube review. Soup was flavorful along with the bits they added. Like another reviewer stated, I like how they used 2 different sized rice noodles. Giving it a 3-star because I find it expensive ($19) for a food court item since the tail is tiny; more like a large crawfish. I didn't know you can harvest tails under 4 ounces.
