The server assigned to our table did an excellent service! He was very attentive to our needs/request. Very friendly! And since we already paid our bill through open table we asked server how we can pay him tip? And he was very thankful and said it's all paid part of the open table package. We wanted to make sure he gets a tip for an excellent job! However, staff on the host stand seemed very busy with their reservations. No greetings and no eye contact when we approached the host stand, hence I have to say - Hi, we have a reservation at 12:45, then I was asked my name? Even when we left the restaurant, our server was thankful for our visit. But when we passed by the host stand the staff was just standing and not even a smile or Thank you or Good bye! I believe the hosts should be warm and welcoming! And looking happy! as they are the first point of contact to the guests.
Always enjoy the lounge and Globe at Fairmont YVR. The best place in town to enjoy drinks or dinner and drinks. Easter was my first brunch and it was almost as good as Christmas Eve dinner.

Lovely decor, delicious food. Wide variety of choices suitable for everyone, from kids to whatever. The brunch menu was excellent and it was a pleasure to have so many choices. The staff was great, and the ambience and view was spectacular.

The cod was absolutely divine. Cooked to perfection and so flavorful. Although the eggplant was a little acidic.

Very limited menu for a fairmont restaurant.

Although the food was good and the table service was fine, the person at the greet desk was not there. We waited five minutes and then asked one of the waiters to help us. He was NOT enthusiastic about engaging with us and told us to wait until the greeter came back. Not impressed. Also, the noise of live music and people speaking above the music made it difficult to speak to table mates over dinner.

We waited a long time to be served after being seated. The waiter seemed rushed though the service eventually improved . The food was mediocre and we didn't feel that we received value for the price. Also, the noise factor was uncomfortable.
The room is noisy because it's in an airport. The menu is extremely limited and the food is horrendously overpriced like $42 for a basic burger. That said the service was excellent.

The smoked salmon eggs Benedict was horrible. They cooked the salmon and it was stiff. Then, when I told my server, instead of apologizing for the misunderstanding, she decided to validate her point of why it was cooked and not soft and fresh. She never offered to replace my meal. My son's scrambled eggs were also left over buffet style eggs. Very dry and not appealing and did not taste good at all. Worst birthday breakfast experience ever. I've had dinner here before and server was always rude pretentious and self righteous so epic fail choosing this place to start my day off.

We had afternoon tea and dinner at the Globe@YVR. Service at both occasions was great. Food was great too. Afternoon tea was very relaxing. For dinner, table reservation is recommended. We had an early dinner, and it was just perfect for ambience and noise level. Overall, we had a very enjoyable dinner at Globe@YVR.

We had the GLOBE@YVR'S SIGNATURE 3-COURSE PRIX FIXE and found all the food excellent. My fav was the LAMB PAPPARDELLE Local Lamb Neck Ragout, Dehydrated Goat Cheese, Sundried Tomato Pesto. This was very unique with outstanding flavour.

Had a wonderful time here for high tea. Service was great, food was great. One member of our group has an allergy and they were very accommodating. Definitely recommend coming here. Our waiter was amazing, it was a nice quiet day. The scones were so yummy!
