Although the food was good and the table service was fine, the person at the greet desk was not there. We waited five minutes and then asked one of the waiters to help us. He was NOT enthusiastic about engaging with us and told us to wait until the greeter came back. Not impressed. Also, the noise of live music and people speaking above the music made it difficult to speak to table mates over dinner.

We waited a long time to be served after being seated. The waiter seemed rushed though the service eventually improved . The food was mediocre and we didn't feel that we received value for the price. Also, the noise factor was uncomfortable.

The room is noisy because it's in an airport. The menu is extremely limited and the food is horrendously overpriced like $42 for a basic burger. That said the service was excellent.

The smoked salmon eggs Benedict was horrible. They cooked the salmon and it was stiff. Then, when I told my server, instead of apologizing for the misunderstanding, she decided to validate her point of why it was cooked and not soft and fresh. She never offered to replace my meal. My son's scrambled eggs were also left over buffet style eggs. Very dry and not appealing and did not taste good at all. Worst birthday breakfast experience ever. I've had dinner here before and server was always rude pretentious and self righteous so epic fail choosing this place to start my day off.

We had afternoon tea and dinner at the Globe@YVR. Service at both occasions was great. Food was great too. Afternoon tea was very relaxing. For dinner, table reservation is recommended. We had an early dinner, and it was just perfect for ambience and noise level. Overall, we had a very enjoyable dinner at Globe@YVR.

Our group of 5 decided to treat ourselves to lunch here after sending our sons off to Denver Sunday Jan 7/24. To begin with, if you think you are going to sit and watch planes land and take off, you'll be dissapointed. You'll watch the back end of a wing of the terminal. The food was what you would expect from any low end restaurant. The burger meat was a factory patty that I've had at cheap roadside truckstops. The chicken was your classic factory tasteless rubber chicken. The fries were lukewarm McCain style battered fries. The service was minimal at best, having to flag down our server to get additional condiments. Each time our glasses were refilled with water, the server would dribble water across the table. I guess this saves time when wiping the table down for the next customer. The only saving grace to this disaster of a "restaurant" is that we got a 3 hour parking validation. Given the prices, quality and experience, I would never recommend this place.

We had the GLOBE@YVR'S SIGNATURE 3-COURSE PRIX FIXE and found all the food excellent. My fav was the LAMB PAPPARDELLE Local Lamb Neck Ragout, Dehydrated Goat Cheese, Sundried Tomato Pesto. This was very unique with outstanding flavour.

The ambience and food was lovely! The server was very cold and not welcoming. Every time we wanted something the look on her face and expressions were we are bothering her. If you asked for a recommendation she would say let me get you the menu. Working in the industry myself this type of behavior and attitude not acceptable when you spending so much money.

We have been here many times but last night was absolutely amazing. The staff catered to all our allergies and suggested great options and all of us were even able to have dessert!!! Thank you globe yvr staff.

We dined here on Jan 1, 2024. We found the service to be slow, had to request a spoon to eat the soup and didn't get it until after about 10 mins. Our food was lukewarm at best and bland. We have dined at other Fairmont locations and had fabulous meals. For the cost of the meal, we expected much more

Before my brother‘s departure flight, we had dinner at Globe@YVR which is located in the Fairmont Vancouver Airport hotel at the US Departures area of the airport in Richmond, BC. They offer 3 hours of complimentary self-parking in YVR's main parkade. It's definitely worth stopping here to eat—even without a planned flight—for a very impressive meal. I chose two appetizers to start. The last time we were here I had the delicious Crab Bisque, which is poured at the table, so I ordered it again and was not disappointed. I also ordered Seared Scallops that came with Cannelini Beans, Double Smoked Bacon, Sofrito, and Candied Lemon. This was an amazingly decadent pork and beans dish topped with scallops and had the perfect combination of flavours and textures. My entrée was Glazed Black Cod served with Sticky Rice and Fried Eggplant. Every ingredient in this dish complimented and contrasted each other very well. Textures ranged from creamy eggplant to crispy sticky rice to melt-in-your-mouth black cod. This is definitely one of my favourites! ❤️

Our service was very poor, we had to wait over an hour for our dinner order to be taken, the food was delicious once we received it. The beverage service was very slow, the white wine choice is limited. Our waitress did not seem engaged and she was rude and dismissive....we had to ask for our bill and wait a long time to receive it.

Overall it was a great experience. Food quality and service were both excellent The only feedback I'd provide is that for the price charged more food variety and choice should be offered.

We split a salad which was so big it was ridiculous! More than enough for 2 so no real complaint. We both had the scallop appetizer which was so small it was shocking especially for $26 each. Then I had lobster tortellini. 4 pieces for $44! They were barely warm ! Now, for a $44 main course you would expect some vegetables or something to accompany the tortellini.....nothing else! Final bill was $267 including tip. Just to be complete we had 1 drink each. What an expensive disaster !

Went for high tea. I have been before. I would say it was just alright this time. The finger sandwiches bread felt like it was either old or had been cut and sitting for a long time. It was crusty and stale. Disappointing given then cost.
