“I was really excited to try this place. My husband and I ordered lattes, but unfortunately the coffee was very strange and didn’t really taste like coffee at all. I’m not sure if something was off with the espresso that day, but we ended up throwing them out, which was really disappointing because the café itself is super cute.

However, we did get sandwiches and some baked goods, and those were delicious. I’d definitely come back to try the food again!”

“The wife wanted a cappuccino, so we typed coffee into Google Maps, and found directions to a bike shop. How fun! We were greeted by a beautiful counter of artisan bread, pastries, and cured meats, stationed amidst mountain bikes and gear. My wife ordered her coffee and a pastry, and despite a 3 minute staredown with the baguettes, I declined to buy one, or order my own coffee. Mistake.

We sat in the car and realised it was the best cappuccino we'd had in a very long time. Coming from folks who grind and pour their own cortados each morning with artisan beans, this was something. Within 3 minutes I was back in the shop ordering my own cappuccino, and a baguette to go. Outstanding.”

“We visited the lower Gibsons location earlier today and stopped by on a recommendation from a local and we were not disappointed. The best matte latte and caramel macchiato we’ve ever had. We sat by the window enjoying great coffee and a stunning view of the mountains. Staff were really friendly and their merch section is top notch.”

“I’m so glad I stopped in here today! I ordered the falafel bowl and avocado smoothie and both were delicious! The bowl was loaded with fresh and flavourful ingredients (I was just in Vancouver and ordered a bowl from a bigger chain and it was almost all rice and no veggies). The staff person was so friendly and I could see that they were chopping up fresh ingredients right then for my bowl! Good prices too, compared to the bigger chains. Highly recommend!!”

“We arrived just before opening on a rainy, fall Saturday. The line up was down the road alongside the patio. The gate opened and the restaurant filled up. Sadly, we didn't make it in on the first seating. But it was worth the wait. Tables flipped well after the first wave. Good service and a fine selection of brunch.
