“Love the beers and their quaint little tasting room. We came during the winter, but would love to see it during summer. Even better was that it was walking distance from our AirBnB that we were staying at.”
“Scandinavian fine dining in Ganges. A beautiful spot in a house with wood framed windows. Beautiful tablecloths, linens, and table settings. The food matched. Delicious appetizers, mains (I really enjoyed the venison and my wife the sablefish). And I got my favourite—chocolate for dessert. Go and have a great meal.”
“This is my favourite spot to eat on Saltspring I always have a hectic day there towing and I come in famished and they seat me right away and feed me real good. I'm not even a local and they welcome me and are glad to see me. Lots of parking, food is excellent, prices are fair. Highly recommended.”
“We had a delicious meal at the cafe this morning! The food was sooo tasty and made with fresh ingredients. The prices were very reasonable. Service was great and the atmosphere is funky! Love visiting this restaurant whenever we get over to the island for a visit?”
“Yes! We finally have a place for delicious Indian food on the island again! And they cater too! Amazing pakoras, samosas and curries. They can accommodate various dietary needs with the catered menu too!”
“Really great cider, and a cool atmosphere. To be honest the food was disappointing (had the gnocchi and it was not great - was watery for some reason), but still had a fun time here with friends! Like that its dog friendly too”
“Great take out fire oven pizza truck. Perfect when you arrive on the afternoon ferry and want to grab some dinner before heading to your vacation rental. Conveniently located near the Thrifty Foods so you can pop over to grab groceries while you wait. We sampled 4 pizzas and all of them we delicious.”
“Anything that isn't poutine kinda sucks, not gonna lie. I had the Crispy Chicken sandwich, and it was not worth the price of admission. Tasted like a Jane's breaded chicken patty deep fried. The poutine, however? Pretty good! Highly recommend the poutine, their gravy and fries are amazing.Kid-friendliness: Not very friendly to small children, the park it's located in has a nasty wasp problem during the summer and fall.”
“Today I had an amazing Chicken salad BLT wrap, and it was the most delicous wrap i have ever had!! The sides were great too, pesto pasta and asian noodles. Thank you to the wonderful ladies who made my lunch, they put in so much love and passion. I will definitely be getting lunch here again. Thank you so much!!”
“Music was a little loud. View was great, sports on tv. Live music and a fiddle player that was amazing.Ramen was meh and the fish and chips was awesome. Would recommend.Want to go back for duck wings on wing night :)”
“Del Vecchio Pasta Fresca is a must destination when visiting Salt Spring Island for fresh pasta and pizza lovers. Owner and Chef Max creates delicious Italian favorites. We tried Ravioli filled with porcini mushrooms and the Margherita pizza... both were delicious and served with big smiles. This small place is worth a detour. "Forza Italia" and "complimenti" team Max.”
“I love Salt spring Coffee, I drink it everyday at home. Stopped in to the cafe on my way to the ferry and I told the cashier that I wanted a coffee, muffin and a roasted veg egg white bite as I pointed to it in the display case. Somehow I didn’t realize how much my bill was when I tapped my card - and ended up waiting over 10 minutes for the girl to hand me a to-go container that had a full eggs Benedict meal with hash browns. I didn’t have time to return it as I was almost late for the ferry and checked my card later that was charged $34 for a meal that I didn’t order or eat. Im confused how the cashier misunderstood my order as I pointed to it in the display case and the full dine-in breakfast menu is in a completely different spot. I know it’s difficult with masks to understand people right now, so maybe training your staff to repeat the order if they are unsure because people have allergies and it’s so disappointing when you are commuting to work and don’t get to eat breakfast!! :(”
“I ordered the Fish and Chips. It was great and exactly what you can expect for a decent Fish and Chips. But the Ruckle Stew is THE best option in my opinion.I was just about to to go twice during my 3 day visit to Salt Spring Island, it’s so good!Parking: I guess in peak season it can be difficult to park as the restaurant and business are in a very tight corner. But I went off season.”
“This was our go to coffee shop in Ganges. The coffee is local and great. All treats were made on site and were delicious, tasty, and fresh. The service was very good and welcoming. The place has a nice laid back vibe inside and nice tables outside to chill and relax away from traffic.”

“I can't get enough of this stuff! Seriously, if I had to choose just one place to eat for the rest of my life, it would be Paco's Tacos. The people are super nice, they use quality ingredients, and the food is always fresh and SO flavorful. 10/10 for quality, service, and food. You can't go wrong with anything you order from them, just make sure to grab lots of napkins!”
