“It was a pleasant surprise to find such a nice Indian restuarant in Duncan of all places. Being an Indian, living in Surrey, I generally avoid eating Indian food when I come to the Island. However this time my buddies were craving Indian food, so we decided to give this place a try. Safe to say, this food can put most of the Surrey restaurants to shame! The food was fresh, homely and the staff were friendly. I recommend the goat curry which was really tender and well cooked. The prices were very reasonable too. If you are passing through Duncan, please give this place a try!”
“Just went with a group of people (to the Victoria Loacation), I had the Big Kahuna Burger and it was one of the best burgers I've ever had.I was hesitant about the Mango Ketchup but it was tasty.Will definitely go back and try more.Staff was friendly and even gave me a little tutorial on how to eat the burger as it is bigger than normal, the "burger bag" was a game changer.Go there, eat it. Be happy.”

“Great beer made by passionate and creative brewmasters. The food is really delicious and the prices reflect their desire to make their warm and comfortable atmosphere inviting to everyone. The whole family is always welcome, even your pooch can tag along and enjoy their pet-popular patio. They even have cards, books and board games for those who are so inclined.All of the Red Arrow family I have met thus far have embraced me with a refreshingly thoughtful and friendly demeanour. Each and every one of them have proven time and again their willingness to go out of their way to appease and provide the best experience for me and my friends.Today I witnessed ‘Big Dog’ go the extra mile and then some - when he didn’t even blink at a customers request to bring one of the books home to finish. As I said, the Red Arrow is made up of a family of great people who are always going to put you first.”
“Excellent spot for really really good food. Burger was one of the best I’ve had and the Benny was delicious. Their side potatoes aren’t amazing so I’d skip those next time. The service isn’t fast (assuming because everything is made fresh and created with care) so don’t stop in if you’re in a big hurry. Heated patio and restaurant were full at 11am on a weekday so it’s a popular place. Turnover seems consistent though so not too long of a wait for a table. A definite must in Duncan as great food is hard to find there.”

“Gluten free household here! We've tried every gluten-free pizza in this town and hands down, this crust was so good, we worried we got the wrong pizza! Created our own BBQ chicken with that garlic pizza sauce ... speechless. Price comparable to anywhere else you'd get a dry, thin, from-frozen GF crust at $26 before taxes and delivery fees. I can only assume it was made from scratch in-house - doughy, soft, crispy, and holds shape even with loaded toppings. Only waited probably half an hour for it to arrive through Door Dash. Y'all doing the Lord's work for Duncan's gluten-sensitive! I'd give it 10 stars if I could - we'll be ordering again for sure!Dietary restrictions: (See above) - gluten-free crust available in 12" size, which is more than enough for two people.”

“Fantastic location, great wine and great service. All in all I would highly recommend a visit. Staff were very friendly and informative. We did a small winery tour and this was definitely the highlight of our day. Easy to get to, not far off the highway and good on-site parking.”
“Excellent costumer service and even better food. All of the times that I have eaten here it has never failed to be an absolutely wonderful experience. The pho broth is extremely flavourful and the meat is just perfectly cooked. I also tried the shrimp vermicelli bowl, and it was packed with flavour and perfectly cooked shrimp and noodles, everything is well seasoned in terms of flavour and I definitely recommend to Saigon subs to anybody who enjoys Vietnamese cuisine. I also tried their frozen pho meals and and they where absolutely delicious. Packed with flavour and super easy to prepare. I followed the instructions and it turned out perfect. Super tasty and I a grate dinner for buys people 10 /10 defiantly recommend.”

Every time we went, it got better and better: if the first time food was good and service ok, this very last time (Sunday, 7th of March 2021) food was amazing and service exceptional. Everything arrived very fast and burning hot even though restaurant was very busy (all tables were taken). Prices are very decent and quality of food, taste and presentation was top notch. We moved here recently from another province and found it hard to find good Vietnamese food in the area; we are very glad we found this! We will definitely become very regular customers if our dining experience will stay the same as this last Sunday!”
“My first time visiting Gibby's Cafe and WOW! Simply delicious! My 2 year old and I got the grilled cheese on sourdough with fries and the Veggie sandwich on multigrain to go. Amazing sushi, katsu, bulgari, etc. Staff are incredibly helpful if you're not familiar with Japanese/Korean dishes, and very helpful regarding modifications.I've been coming here for 7 years now, often every week. I've never had a bad order or dish, and any possible issues are easily fixed with no complaints.Highly reccomend to beginners or novice fans of Japanese or Korean food.(I'd also kill for your guys miso recipe! I've never found any as amazing as yours, it's addicting.)”

“Great place! Located in the center of Duncan, this little café also containing a small shop is a real cozy little corner where you can enjoy delicious pastries such as an absolutely delicious strawberry chocolate scone, hot coffee and protein smoothie! I recommend 100% for a relaxing time :)”
“Walked in... didn't know it was primarily a take out place as for dine in they have no washroom... but instead of leaving I asked to have a fresh Salmon Avocado roll made, and she had it ready in less than a couple minute. Fresh and good with plenty of ginger compared to other take out places like the grocery store. If I need something quick I'll come again because they have a bunch of pre made rolls ready to go.”

“The Duncan location has made major customer service improvements. The staff is ever-so-friendly. Every child in the restaurant was given a candy sucker. There was a special needs customer who complained over the ice-coated glass mugs, and they cleaned it for her without any hassle or trouble. I just want to highlight the staff on this particular visit. They seem to be doing well after this pandemic.”
“I have a son with multiple severe food allergies so we are a bit of a pain when we order food from restaurants. I cannot say enough good things about the Duncan White Spot. They are always SO accommodating with finding food options that are safe for my son. Many (if not all) of their staff are familiar with how carefully food allergies need to be handled. As a parent of a child with allergies, it is a HUGE relief to find a place that you know your child can eat at safely. This White Spot has, and will continue to be, our go to place when we want too eat out as a family.”

“It's starbucks, a wide selection of sugary drinks and treats. The double smoke bacon sandwich is extraordinary and the white chocolate mocha is a legend. A bit on the pricey side but hard to complain when a frozen oven heated sandwich tastes better, than a sandwich you are likely to get at a restaurant, especially on Vancouver Island. Staff are always great and efficient and you're never more than 5 minutes away from a location! One bad note, bathroom cleanliness continues to plague the restaurant chain as a whole. Still, a minor issue in my opinion.”

I've been to many different subways in Duncan and most of them each have something off about them like rude staff and dirtiness. But this subway is different. The staff always greet us with a smile and are SUPER kind and organized. The sandwiches and wraps are super delicious whether they are custom made or straight from the menu they never upset me. They have very good seating outside and inside. the inside has an area big enough for 6 people. I will not only order another Eclipse Barolo wine kit, but I am very motivated to try the rest of the Eclipse line. Typically, it takes a long time to age Barolo wine, the pleasant and knowledgeable staff at Great Fermentations explained how Eclipse kits have a special secret process that makes it possible to have a delicious drinkable wine in a much shorter period of time. Looking forward to my next batch!”

“Love all,of the food, amazing miso (not true of every restaurant), fresh sushi, tasty bento boxes, I can honestly say I’ve not been unhappy with anything they’ve prepared for me. But, if I was to tell you my favourite things the first would be the “Monkey Brains” we recently tried. We’ve had this dish in other restaurants and really thought we’d found the best version elsewhere...but we were wrong! Sushi House Monkey Brains are THE best! The spicy chopped scallop roll is a must, and if you like Pho, their soups are delectable. I recently ordered take out Pho and was so impressed when I realized that the broth was very obviously homemade and it was without a doubt the best Pho I’ve ever had. Thank you Sushi House, you’re our go to place!”

The food was way better than Mucho burrito and a little bit cheaper.The sizes are very big and I could barely finish a large (and I am a big eater). “This place has been closed for quite a while.It is now opened and wow, what a difference!The whole place is different, it is brighter and cleaner and the service was great.My friend and I stopped by one night. It is more wheelchair accessible. I didn’t use the bathroom, but my friend did, and she said it was really nice and clean.I'm not a big McDonald's fan, but I do like the way they renovated it.Wheelchair accessibility: The whole place is wheelchair accessible.”

“Gluten free household here! We've tried every gluten-free pizza in this town and hands down, this crust was so good, we worried we got the wrong pizza! Created our own BBQ chicken with that garlic pizza sauce ... speechless. Price comparable to anywhere else you'd get a dry, thin, from-frozen GF crust at $26 before taxes and delivery fees. “The Duncan location has made major customer service improvements. The staff is ever-so-friendly. Every child in the restaurant was given a candy sucker. There was a special needs customer who complained over the ice-coated glass mugs, and they cleaned it for her without any hassle or trouble. I just want to highlight the staff on this particular visit. They seem to be doing well after this pandemic.”

“We had part of our daughter's birthday celebrations at Duncan DQ. The team went above and beyond, served us 10 meals that were hot and all correct, they decorated the cake (on the spot) and served it with candles and all staff joined in singing HBD.
