Great place.Jian’s sandwich’s are always excellent. The new benchmark for island service and food quality. Much more than just a bakery.. Particularly fond of the savoury scones, and miso cookies.. high quality bread, great crust and crumb. .
We came back multiple times during our trip to Salt Spring Island and every single time this place blew us away. Seriously the best baked goods that I've ever eaten in my life. Each time no photos were taken bc they were devoured so quickly.

A line before opening is a good sign. Baked goods and the breakfast sandwich was superb. They staff was very nice and it was clear the operation has the process down as it was fast despite the long lines
