The mutton was especially tender and well-marinated. The starters were just as impressive. Gobi Manchurian, Chicken Lollipop 65 were flavourful, and the Paneer Pepper Fry was a big hit even with non-vegetarians. Highly recommend!”

We are frequent customers and love the food as a rule. We have come to expect great quality meals and terrific service from The Carvery. Unfortunately today we had a slightly different experience. Our sandwiches were delicious as usual but the mushroom soup had large chunks of unblended flour (roux) in the soup. At first we thought they were chunks of potato but then realized that was not the case. The taste and texture did not make for an appetizing bowl of soup as it was very flour heavy. I called the restaurant to let them know and the lady on the phone just said okay thanks for letting us know and made to hang up. Which is fine, but no offer to replace my 2 soups or anything. A little disappointed I admit. I am posting this just so that perhaps the staff can handle this differently in the future. We will still be back, they are hands down the best sandwich shop here!”

“Ordered catering trays for a celebration and it was our first time trying Ken’s Cafe. We will only be ordering from Ken’s from now on for our family events!

Food tasted fresh, perfectly seasoned, and healthy - even the fried wontons and squid were light and crispy without being greasy. Everyone at our party commented on how good the food was - even my hard-to-please parents and picky children loved the food. We had plenty of leftovers and were excited to eat it again the next day.

Service was great from start to finish. We ordered on the phone a couples weeks before our event, I was able to conveniently pay by phone. We also got a phone call 1-hour before pickup confirming our order, which was very helpful! At pickup, the owners helped us load the food and even gave our kids free handmade chocolates to enjoy.

From the consultation, menu selection, to the actual day of catering and set up, Tandoori Town was with us every step of the way. We had a few hiccups from the very beginning with one of our wedding venues. Aunty met us there and was immediately solution orientated while making sure we walked away with what we wanted without settling for less. There were a few other instances where we needed help and the entire team was so helpful in going above and beyond for our family. Everything was done with so much heart and intention, that we walked away from my brother’s wedding week with a full belly AND heart. Pizza dough is made fresh daily, hand stretched and topped in front of you. Everything was cooked in the fast fire oven lending that slight smoky flavour with the pasta perfectly cooked and creamy, wings crispy outside yet moist and tender inside and the charred thin crust pizza well presented. If you like a crispier bottom crust ask them for well done. Every Monday they offer a 2-topping small pizza for $5 (no limit). On the side counter, they offer a variety of olive oils, seasonings, hot sauces, parmesan and chili flake to name a few that customers can add before eating or taking away. Lots of beverages offered, with indoor seating and tv for viewing games. All forms of food delivery are offered. Parking can be limited as it shares the corner with another franchise but there’s also mall parking behind. This Toronto franchise is owner/operated by a local ND family. Support, Shop, Buy Local !”
