After 3 years, nothing really changed (only a littlemouse passing by in the adjacent kitchen area that I don’t recall seeing back then)…SOOOOO overpriced and unfortunately not offset a single cent by a poor service (they don’t sell smiles, only pies, I should have remembered)

VERY expensive. I do not remember it being $36 dollars for 2 pieces of pie and chai.....$36 dollars? A whole pie used to be 30 dollars. Not a great selection of pie slices. Rip off/dissapoitment. How can you justify charging 36 dollars for 2 pieces of pie and 2 lattes. Also, the barista was not customer service oriented stating rudely when asked about what pie slices there were stated "whatever is in the fridge". Food not good enough to justify the price and service not good either.

Standard coffee shop with lovely pies. As an American it’s a struggle to find good drip coffee in this area. The gentleman behind the counter didn’t have a full pour for me left so he handed me a half cup to have with my spinach mushroom quiche while more coffee was made. Both the slice of quiche and the coffee did not disappoint. Aphrodite’s has me smitten.

Ordered iced coffee. But order was made wrong. So they poured hot coffee over a cup of ice in front of my face.

I used to love this sweet little spot in my favourite area of Kits. It seems that ew ownership has resulted in a decline in quality of both food and service. They used to have a delicious tomato and cheese focaccia that I would drive across town for, but for some reason was taken off the menu when the new owner took over. Their pies have become sweeter and somehow less flavourful, as have their other baked goods. The biggest issue for me though has been very slow and sometimes rude staff (especially the young man with glasses). They all seem unhappy to be there and slightly bothered that they have to serve you. I've heard others comment about the same things. The new red paint decor hasn't helped the vibe in there much either. They also really need to update their window logo - it looks really shabby. I hope they can improve it because I'd hate to see this place go!

So this review is based on TooGoodToGo app orders because to be honest, the full prices of the pies are ridiculous. The fruit pies are good, but nothing to write home about. The quiche are top tier, delicious. Not particularly friendly service. Like I said, prices are insane - $60 for a pie? Wild.

Okay, so you're on Vacation in Vancouver and there is so much to be offered. But if you want a quiet place to sit and enjoy life lived, and you if want fantastic tea, and most especially you want to enjoy a slice of incredible pie and quiche, this is your stop. There are no gimmicks, just what they do and they do it wonderfully. Please, slow down and step into a delight.

Meh, I’ve had better tasting apple pie from Safeway. Was expecting much better for $47. The pastry was good but not much flavour in the filling.

My boyfriend and I stopped here for a quick bite to eat. The pies on offer looked amazing but my boyfriend wasn't able to get half of the pie he wanted. In the end, he got a slice and I got a slice of the apple pie. They have a pie and chai deal which was nice. The place itself could use some TLC. It has a lot of potential and looking at previous photos, it appears to look more vibrant and well looked after. However, I didn't find this to be the case when I was there a few weeks ago. The lady behind the counter appeared to be cold and not very happy.
