I had the bagel with bacon and potatoes and it was amazing. It’s a grab and go places so when it’s raining it’s not possible to seat at the park or enjoy it right away.Love it, worth trying, they have a lot of good options to choose from.

the butter garlic bagel tasted super greasy and the taste of garlic was overwhelming. I took this to eat at the office and it was so smelly that i ended up throwing it out. My mouth smelled like cheap oil even though i washed it more than 10 times.

No dine in, pickup only. Cool bagel shop a minute's walk from Yaletown station. By the time I was there (1:30pm), there was a limited variety of bagels left and my online order was cancelled because they ran out of frozen bagels. The sesame bagel ($2.6) I got was very fluffy and not super chewy, kind of like a dense bread. Recommend for early bites when you're in the area!

It’s no longer selling cream puffs, cheese tarts. Right it’s selling more bagels related bakery which is delicious as well.Love the red beans & cream cheese.Bagels are more of East Coast / New York Style, on the softer side which I like.P.S. Thanks for the Hot Chocolate Drink on the House. Very Friendly Owner !!!

BAGEL ME UP PLEASE I stopped by @bakefortynine yesterday to try our their revamped menu.Bake49 is a hidden little gem tucked away behind a window on Mainland St in Yaletown. They were well known for their pastries like cheese tarts and croissants. However, unfortunately, Bake49 no longer sells their famous cheese tarts, croissants, or puffs ?But, they may just be the best bagel spot in town now. Their line up of bagels include your classics like sesame and everything bagel. But also unique flavours like pretzel, almond, and red bean. They also have a selection of bagel sandwiches that look absolutely delicious.I grabbed the honey walnut cream cheese bagel and a plain pretzel bagel to go. And let me tell you guys, I mean it when I say that was one of the best bagels I’ve ever had. Like, on par with the bagels in New York type of good.I disassembled the cream cheese bagel once I got him to re-toast the sesame bagel that it came on. I also added some left over salmon and chicken breast that I had into it afterwards. And oh, my, god this thing was amazing. I’m seriously not exaggerating. The shell of the bagel was really nice and crunchy, the inside was soft and chewy, and toasted sesame seeds added such a punch of flavour. The honey walnut cream cheese was also a perfect balance of sweet and savoury. Made my plain chicken breast that I added in taste so much better.I’m genuinely sad that they don’t make pastries anymore, but also elated that they now do bagels. Because Vancouver is definitely still quite lacking in bagelries.Did you guys know that Bake49 is now a bagel shop?⭐️10/10??‍♀️10/10?$ (aprox. $2.50-$12/bagel depending)?Bake49 | 1066 Mainland St, Vancouver

Bought a bunch of bagels for the office today and they were a big hit! Sad to see the croissant and pastries go but the bagels are a good replacement!

We bought crunchy puffs and man oh man it was tasty! The cream had the perfect amount of sweetness and best creamy yet light texture and taste! ? the outer crunchy puff was amazing, not at all buttery or heavy but very light! Soooo goood!Loved it!

?We woke up rather early on a nice Saturday morning not to miss Bake49’s divine baked sweets and pastries and loved the experience, once again. The soft, not-too-sweet, fluffy texture is magical with a latte as we serve it at home. It’s my sister-in-law’s ritual and we very happily join her knowing we’re in for a treat. Check out my photos for more information about their schedule and when they serve other yummy desserts. ?❤️ We ordered the lovely Pain Au Chocolate, Dirty Choco, Mont Blanc, Custard NY Roll, and the Morning Bun. Best combination ever Parking: Paid street parking. Find a spot easily in the morning.Wheelchair accessibility: The shop is wheelchair accessible.

If you want to start your weekend fresh stop by this little Japanese style bakery shop. And enjoy whatever they offer freshly. Watch out they ran out of supplies very fast so be there at 10:30AM sharp and join the sugar thirsty zombies! From my selection I would say Cream brûlée, Mont blanc, Pain eu chocolate and dirty chocolate, don’t get fooled by the look of dirty chocolate, there’s nothing inside! ? must try and enjoy!Vegetarian options: Except the Ham sandwich everything else is veggy.Dietary restrictions: NoneParking: Only option is to park at Yaletown expensive street parkingKid-friendliness: YesWheelchair accessibility: Yes

Bake49 ham&cheese croissant and butter croissant are the best in town. So far, none of the other croissant shops can beat them.
