Food was excellent. Portions are a bit small. Bit pricey too. Overall, still recommend to check out.

Average italian restaurant. I would even say your typical hotel restaurant- ok food and ok service but nothing special. I liked their duck ragu pasta. All other pastas we tried were just ok. Cheese plate is below average. Also, they do not have any beers on draft. Not really sure how is it possible for a restaurant in Vancouver to have at least few draft beers to pick from.

The service was very invasive and they tried really hard to upsell anything. The food was tasteless, which was very disappointing. It is supposed to be a Michelin star restaurant, but it seems the chef forgot to season. Portions are extremely small as well. The Risotto was not creamy at all and the rice was undercooked, the Manzo was chewy and literally 6 tiny pieces of meat with a decoration of puree, a baby portion.

I personally didn't have the best experience.I'm definitely biased against Italian food, not having had any great experiences so far, but I was very disappointed with Bacaro for the price.I ordered the Venison Ragu, which wasn't bad, but didn't taste amazing I think. We actually waited closer to an hour for our food, which we weren't really expecting nor were we told about. The pasta was a little more tough than I anticipated and there was some curly wire/metal thing in my food. I assume it was from a can of sauce or something that they opened but accidentally got into my food.Either way, it was not the best lunch experience and I personally wouldn't recommend it to people. The staff were very nice though!

The fresh / homemade pasta is fantastic but overall the flavours are lacking and dishes are generally underwhelming. Would stick to ask for Luigi or Di Beppe. Also I find restaurants attached to hotels tend to lack atmosphere. Wouldn’t go back personally. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable though.
Beautiful place with interesting but beautiful decor. The ambiance is perfect for any romantic occasion. The food is spectacular - truffle ravioli is outstanding. The service is exceptional and very accomodating.

Took part in a wine dinner. Food was good and well executed throughout. Wine pairings were good except for one of the dishes. Only downside was that the handkerchief pasta was getting cold when it arrived at the table but oh so delicious. Great evening overall!

It was a great little teaser, The Tuna Crudo was great, fun bright, light but punchy. Loved every bite of it, same with the desserts both desserts were delicious the Frangipane though, exceptional. I love ice cream so Bergamot Gelato will always be a win, but that Frangipane, ???Personally, the Grilled Wagyu, versus the Bigoli Con Anatra the Grilled Wagyu wins. Hands down the Grilled Wagyu was a much more balanced dish and had me wanting more. The pasta with the Duck Ragu was just way too heavy, salty and oily. After some mouthfuls I was struggling to finish it.Service was ok, slow at first, not sure if they're used to a busy night but they felt understaffed. Service was better once the restaurant died down a little.Overall 7/10

Excellent service there was a mistake onour order, we ordered 3 mushroom balls to start with as an entre but instead we got 2 x tuna balls which we ate before we realized it was the wrong order and when we told the waitress not only did she come back with the right order but also said it was on the house...that we wouldn't be charged for either ... rare to have that kind of customer service... the 3 menus were a little confusing and restaurant pricey but the sword fish with the farro I ordered and the halibut my husband ordered was delish.

Came here for a dinner date. Restaurant is beautifully decorated , very modern with dim lighting . Server was friendly , knowledgeable and quick with getting our items . Today I can say I had the best pasta I’ve tasted in awhile since visiting Italy. The Agnolotti alla zucca pasta is DELICIOUS! 10/10 recommend trying it ! The linguine with shrimp is also pretty good definitely not as flavourful as the agnolotti though. Recommend trying out Bacaro:)
