I echo other reviewers who were disappointed. We made a 20-minute trip out just to check out the purportedly "huge" portions of "fresh" pasta for "unbelievable" prices. Perhaps this was the case a year ago, but certainly not as of April 2024. The pesto cream penne I got was nothing special at best and rather bland. The bolognese hubby got was very small in portion and low on meat. Sure, they were $11.19 each, but literally we could've made similar pasta for ourselves at home. The place was quite full of seated guests for weekday lunch, so its popularity hasn't completely declined...but I for one will not be coming back.

Very good for the price! I got the lunch special prosciutto sandwich with Caesar. The salad was fantastic, however I felt like the sandwich was missing a bit of flavour/ sauce as the mozzarella is mostly just creamy. Felt a bit bland and dry. Otherwise pretty good, the ingredients are high quality. A good idea could be an option for focaccia bread instead of baguette.

Food is good. My 3rd visit here on 23Mar2024. Ordered and paid for 3 large sandwiches to go. I was asked if I needed a bag, I said no as I had a cotton bag with me. I sat by the window waiting for 30 minutes. They were busy. I asked where my food was. It turns out it was sitting in a bag in the door dash pick-up area for at least 15 minutes. Not sure how they made that mix up but it did sour my day waiting unnecessarily. Felt like asking for my 15% tip back to be honest.

After weeks of seeing reels on Instagram and posts about how great this place was me and my husband decided to make the drive from Burnaby yesterday evening. I could not wait to try the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken which looked delicious and super saucy online. My son fell asleep so we decided to order takeout and order two fettuccine Alfredo and a pesto pasta. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed as when we opened the Alfredo pasta is was just a clump of dry noodles with hardly any sauce and some pieces of chicken on the corner that had not even been tossed into it I just poured in the corner. The pesto one was a bit better but just very little. We genuinely thought maybe it was a mistake or maybe they were just super busy. The bread was delicious though. We might try to eat there next time to see if there’s a difference in quality and portion but definitely not take out .
My second time here asking the same pasta.First time almost 1 year ago was perfect!Today I ask for a Pesto Creme penne and and I only tasted garlic, a lot of garlic, besides the dish was supposed to be penne, but another pasta came out that I honestly have never seen before!!Maybe it was a bad day for the chef, but I will return.

Been before and had good food but the service was not very friendly and is very slow. this last time I went they told us they were closed at 7:30 and we couldn’t order even though Google said 8:00. I left hungry and grumpy after driving across town. Disappointed.

My friend recommended this place but their food was terrible for its price. I ordered pesto pasta. The add on chicken was literally three strips of dry chicken. Their produce section seems nice. Probably better for grabbing a quick bite.
