Visited rather late for dinner and I had no previous experience at this place. I ordered Salmon belly teriyaki don, which took reasonable time to be served to the table.When I saw the amount and quality of the salmon that was put on the rice, I knew that I will be coming back.Salmon was so tender and cooked just right, full of juicy meat. It was amazing.Server was also very nice and came to check the tea a few times.I will visit again when I’m in the area.
I love love love Nishiki Sushi but I have one request. PLEASE add a spider roll to your menu. not one of those stingy basic ones like at sushi garden but a REAL spider roll. one with soft shell crab, cucumber, avocado, imitation crab, kaiware, yamagobo, lettuce and unagi sauce. I don't want to be disloyal but I will force myself to eat elsewhere in order to taste the pure joy and wonder that is a spider roll. This restaurant if more likely a westernized. The rice is supposed to be sticky but they gave me the ordinary white rice. The sauce is a lil bit sour. But they have one of the best Miso Soup because they add a sprinkle of spring onions which adds flavour. The food is almost okay. The westernized flavour is overpowering the Japanese flavour.
