This place goes out of their way to provide the best product and service. And not just beef and pork. We just made duck confit with his duck legs and fat, and they were the best I've ever had, including in restaurants
A gem in the city. I have shopped at Pete's Meats for several years now. I live clear across town and go there not only because the product they sell is exemplary, but because the staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. The place is perfectly laid out, ample parking. I love their meat selection, wonderful deli choices and they even carry fresh vegetables. The guys know just how long to bbq the rib eye or how long to braise the short ribs. The place to go for lamb shanks! Although they usually have lamb shanks in stock, we always order a few days in advance. The quality (not to mention the prices) is excellent. We haven't purchased lamb (shanks and shoulders) anywhere else since we started at Pete's 2-3 years ago. Their staff is always very helpful and friendly. Shop locally.
