Wow! This meal blew us away, we came from Niagara Falls and this was our last meal of the trip and what a perfect way to finish. We had the bee pollen milk buns, crispy mushrooms, lamb and rotolo. You can tell that everything they do has intentional thought behind it... every little detail. The cocktails were complex, the food was outstanding and they take such care of you from the moment you walk through the door. Thank you to our server Jozef for guiding us through the menu to make the experience one we will never forget.

For a restaurant so highly rated, they definitely didn't disappoint. Each dish was great except for the pork BBQ and cheese. Other than that, I felt like one of those anime characters in those cooking shows, my tongue exploding with stars. It's also a work of art, and the servers were very attentive, changing the plates when they get dirty with sauce. It was just the right place for a special dinner with my family.

Really lovely dinner, amazing creativity and unexpected flavors. We did the tasting menu and opted for the beverage pairings with cocktails and wine and were glad we did—it made our meal even more special. I didn’t photograph every dish, but my favorites were the shrimp, asparagus, steelhead, and burrata-filled pasta. And the appetizer selections were so creative and interesting too!One small gripe: our server brought over our main meat course (lamb) while my husband was in the bathroom and it sat on the table for ~5 minutes getting cold. I think they should have kept the dish warm in the kitchen and presented it when he returned. Some of the courses also felt a bit rushed, with our server asking to clear our wine glasses before we were done with them. These small details are things that set a Michelin-caliber restaurant apart, and I would have liked a bit more attentiveness.

Emperor's new clothes? Creative menu, friendly but very poorly trained staff e.g. didn't know what cape gooseberry was and pronounced "physalis" like it rhymed with syphilis. Sommelier was fantastic but that seemed oddly out of place from the rest of the team. Service was friendly but I expect and have had far more high end professional service for the price - $350 for two (only one glass of wine each). Dinner was fun and mostly good but I felt like we had five appetizers - a couple of them weren't much better than a Cactus Club item but a few had some really interesting ingredients. Meh! Glad I went, do not regret it, will never go back and would not recommend - especially at the price.

We came here for a special occasion on a weekday evening. The restaurant was pretty busy. We ordered the 10-course tasting menus. The food was excellent as it was not overly too salty or strong and the palette was pretty balanced and tasted great. The only item for us was that some of the desserts left us with a complex feeling of taste, but I think it might be a matter of preference.Service and atmosphere was pretty much top-notch in our opinion as our server was fantastic and attentive. I could make conversation as it was not overly too loud too. Price point was expected with this restaurant, but we came out full and satisfied.Rating shows 4 star, but it I could will be 4.5 if I could.

Your first trip to Published is an awakening to flavour combinations and culinary artistry that bedazzles your senses, literally. Our second visit was a sophomore record bestseller exceeding already astronomical expectations. Our third visit tonight to wow out-of-town guests exemplified why Michelin and the rest of the world recognize Published on Main as a tour de force culinary dining experience. From Chef’s specials tonight of halibut and tandoori quail to our perfectly balanced cocktails, or the homemade stroopwafel and fermented rice ice cream (JFC!) sandwich for desert, our meal AND the impeccable service were thoughtful, fun and absolutely delicious. Bravo to the service team in a bustling atmosphere, and bravo to the kitchen for a stunning display of balance and execution. Can’t wait to return.

We did the tasting menu and it was underwhelming. The presentation was well done aesthetically but the flavours were lacking. What was more disappointing was the cocktails, the margarita supreme, was blue blended disappointment and something you think you would get from 7-eleven. The service also was just ok. Will not be going back here again.

We had a wonderful evening at the restaurant. The service was warm, professional, and relaxed. We tried nine different dishes and a dessert, and everything was perfect in terms of presentation and taste. I had a big crush on the small Buns, which are an absolute must-order; they are just incredible. The sommelier was very helpful as I was looking for a specific wine that wasn't on the menu, and she was able to offer me a selection of three different ones. I found what I was looking for. We paid $260 per person including a 20% tip because everything was perfect. We will definitely be back, but we're waiting for a menu change.

? Gastronomic Journey: Anniversary Edition at Published on Main! ?? Celebrated our anniversary at Published on Main, a culinary gem in East Vancouver, known for its Michelin Guide recognition. The month-long wait for a reservation was well worth it, providing a unique experience that marked our second visit. ?? Transitioning from the bar table during our first visit to a dining table this time was seamless. The staff's attentiveness added a special touch to our celebration, notably with the complimentary bubbles for our anniversary. ?? The menu was a journey of flavors, from the refreshing Hiramasa and Dungeness Crab to the rich and satisfying Chèvre Rotolo and Truffle Preogy. Each dish showcased an exquisite balance of taste and presentation, making the meal memorable. The daily feature, Stir-fry Gnocchi, was also delightful. ? The Rotolo's richness filled us up completely, prompting us to save dessert for our next visit. ??️ The drink selection was impressively unique, with Published Classic's The Cosmo offering a fruity and refreshing experience, while The Adrian, similar to The Old Fashioned, provided a robust flavor. ?? The evening was a symphony of fine dining and heartfelt service, leaving us looking forward to our next visit. Published on Main is not just a restaurant; it's a celebration of culinary artistry and exceptional customer care. If I could, I would rate the food 6 out of 5 for its outstanding quality. The additional 1 point is for the beautiful plating of each dish. ?
