Montreal smoked meat bagel was unreal. Bagel was fresh and soft, loaded with tons of meat and flavourful. Definitely will be back.

No offense, but really tough and dense bagels. Nice flavor but very dense. Great price but not for me. Everyone has there favorites and I am sure it's for others just not me. Staff was amazing and it's a perfect place for the market.

I LOVE the rosemary rocksalt bagel with butter. If I went to heaven i would float up on a pile of those bagels and then take one singular bite of each one like a rabid dog until my face was covered in butter and bagel crumbs. Anywho. Would highly recommend! I’m also very curious about their salmon lox bagels so will try that one next time!

Super average bagels for a high price. The sesame one tasted not special, not really fresh, chewyness was okay but rather spend your money elsewhere. Lox was decent, cream cheese tasted like nothing.

[Features] At the famous bagel shop in Granville Market, bagels come in many flavors. You can enjoy the aroma of the dough by eating them alone, but it is recommended to pair them with their cream cheese spread, which will make the baked bagels smell delicious. addition. It can also be made into a sandwich when ordering at the store. Be sure to choose the version with eggs, it is super delicious to eat. And if you want something sweet, you must choose the most classic Peanut butter and Jam. The rich and smooth peanut butter is paired with cheese-skinned bagels to double the aroma of cheese and peanut butter. Eat it Later, I was worried that it would be too heavy, so the sweet and sour taste of the jam made the previously heavy bagel grow wings and become lighter.[Service] There are many flavors of bagels. You can choose from the display window on the side, and then go to the counter to order. If you come for breakfast, you must choose a sandwich. He will make it fresh and hot, but you need to wait a while.Parking: Located in Granville Island Market, there are many parking spaces outside the market

Siegel’s Bagels - Montreal’s Smoked Meat ($12.95) 7/10Another famous brand, Siegel’s apparently the closest you can get to Montreal bagel in Vancouver. I wasn’t sure what to expect so I just got their most well known menu, rosemary salt bagel with Montreal smoked meat. Despite choosing the normal filling, the bagel was overflowing with the meat to the point of being too much. The mustard didn’t really help and halfway through I really struggle to finish since the flavour was very monotone. I think it’s mostly an issue with me choosing the wrong menu and the bagel itself was pretty nice. I enjoyed the rosemary and the salt added a nice texture to the bagel. Next time I’ll probably try the sweet bagel or lox.

Wide variety of bagels, baked fresh daily. Centrally located in the market so it can be busy and a bit crowded - not a peaceful experience. Tried the sesame bagel toasted with blueberry cream cheese, lightly flavoured cream cheese (which is my preference) but the bagel was a tad bit too toasty for me. Matter of preference, it was on the more hard moderate toast rather than a light golden brown, but again, matter of preference.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options for bagels and cream cheese, no vegan options noted

Decent bagel spot nestled in the center of the Granville Island Public Market - felt like it'd be remiss to go without giving their lox bagel a try, as a fan of the sandwich. Texturally, the bagel was unlike any bagel I've had before; all in all, not bad, but a little on the dry and chewy side? Montreal-style bagels may not be for me. Bit pricy for what you get, IMO. If I were to go again, I'd probably try their Montreal Smoked Meat, as that seems to be more of their specialty based on other reviews here.

Delicious bagels. Conveniently located in the granville island farmers market year round.I loved the variety of flavours here but what I really loved is that they had a variety of flavoured cream cheese and enough toppings to make a delicious breakfast bagel or savory bagel for lunch. We bought some smoked salmon and cream cheese here and we really loved the delicious bagels we made during our stay. A nice stop for a treat or take home treats from Vancouver!

Stopped by for a breakfast bagel, was impressed by the wide variety of bagels they had to choose from. Everything was reasonably priced and service was fast.

Delicious!! Smoked meat on a rosemary and rock salt bagel was perfect. Really quality smoked meat combined well with the salt of the bagel. Takeaway packs of bagels caught my eye as well! Really well
