I was riding by on my motorcycle and looking for a place to eat and happened to settle on this lovely restaurant. The ambiance is modern as the building is newer than its neighbours. The food is amazing here. The fish is so fresh and clean. Everything is seasoned properly and never bland. The tempura is even salted giving extra umami flavour.

Super quaint lovely restaurant. Underground parking for free (entrance beside Jo’s Italian).Enjoyed the food here. Their Oishi sushi is probably my favourite in Vancouver. Excellent Ichinabe. Tempura also well done, but maybe a tiny bit too salty for my taste. Maki was well made.Japanese beer flights, sake flights available. I thought they would have more cocktail options but they just had one.Good service, despite a mistake in our order.Would return to try the lunch sets.

Very tasty Japanese cuisine, fresh seafood, interesting decor, nice portions, and very reasonable prices…especially the lunch sets! Service was fast, efficient and friendly. I couldn’t ask for anything more to make this a highly recommended business. I’ll be back (lots)!Parking: Free parking accessible from the back of the restaurant.

Did takeout dinner for 4 from Kitchen Dada. I've always had great dine in experiences here and loved the dishes- especially the sashimi beet salad. Unfortunately tonight didn't hit the mark. The rolls fell apart because they were loosely rolled and the rice tasted old. Very disappointing and will think twice before ordering take out again.
Work nearby, frequently eat-in or takeout. Always good food and goodservice. Thank you for wrapping up my miso soup tightly (dropped my takeout bag, but no spill).

Fantastic little Japanese restaurant. Took advantage of the dineout Vancouver menu and it was fabulous! Excellent quality of food and beautiful preparation and presentation. The salmon and tuna nigiri were delicious as was the shrimp&crab chawanmushi. The duck tatami was different and tender. The fried Macha icecream was the perfect ending!
This is my second experience dining at Kitchen Dada; both times, I had the multi-course prix fixe dinner. Both times, it was superb! The dishes are authentically Japanese, and expertly prepared with the freshest of ingredients. Not only was the meal delicious, it was an incredibly good deal. And the wine pours are generous as well! Lovely place.

Perfect DOV night here. Everything was amazing from food to service. Honestly one of the best omakase experiences I've had. I will definitely come back to try the rest of the menu but as well reorder the DOV menu. My fave of the night was a hard pick but I love duck so I'll say the duck tataki! Chefs kiss. Thank you so much for such a great night Kitchen Dada Team! See you soon.

I had the Dine Out Vancouver omakase 6 course dinner. The food was delicious. The waitress explained each dish and so prepared you for your tasting. The price was good value. The service is excellent. The place is small but cozy. This has become one of my favorite neighborhood Point Grey restaurants.

Super fast, attentive service and very nice staff, food is really great quality for the price and delicious. Highly recommend the grilled saba, omg roll, and agedashi tofu— but everything is fresh and tasty! My girlfriend and I come here every week, it’s an awesome date night place with lovely atmosphere:)

Went for the Dine Out Omakaze. 1. Chawamunsi and the Salmon Beet Salad was really good.. never had stir fry Beet but it was so good not oily. Wish the Salmon was bigger pieces and more. 2. Preferred the Duck Breast Tataki which has more flavor compare to the Hamachi Tataki. 3. Madai Ochazuke is very interesting. Madai (fish) inside formed rice ball in soup. 4. The Nigiri/Oishi - small 4 pieces only..i think there should be 8 pieces given the size they served. 5. Ice Cream Tempura.. what can i say.. think they dropped the ball here totally. They don't even serve the whole ice cream.. ? it's just a HALF SMALL SCOOP ice cream.. which is pretty SAD..it was good for 3 bites only They started out good but kinda disappointed at the end.. not worth $55.. more likely $40 worth only
