I'm assuming people come here for the beer, because the food seems like an afterthought. I ordered the brisket sandwich against my better judgment. In my experience, Vancouverites don't know what good BBQ is. I was already suspicious when the menu told me it was thinly-sliced brisket. Sliced brisket should be thick-sliced if it's reheated on a flat-top or it will be dry. Which this was. I usually like a little char on my BBQ, but this was mostly charred. A true diner experience! It was easy to pick something from the menu and they were open to customizing items. Everyone enjoyed their meal and we even had some takeaway for leftovers. Yum! Also, the beer is great. Fresh and great choices. And family friendly!Kid-friendliness: No kids menu, but they have good kids will like on the menu.
