Always walked by but never went in. Decided to give it a go.Ordered the everyday special combo B which is a standard go to lemon grass chicken or pork chop on rice with a spring roll or shrimp salad roll.I opted for lemon grass chicken with a spring roll because deep fried goodness. The lemon grass chicken was good minus the few grisly bites and the spring roll was definitely fried and crispy.Service was alright, the staff were nice and smiley but not the most attentive as had to flag them down for drink refills but guess that is expected at a cash or debit Vietnamese restaurant. The restaurant was clean with usual restaurant decor.I would come back and try other dishes as they are open until quite late.

Pho is decent. The broth could have a bit more flavour though. The main issue here is picking up orders through an app. I’m hesitant to ever order online from them again. For two consecutive times, there’s been a miscommunication with pickup. The first time, I told them clearly the name and which app I used, but they told me the total and punched in the total on the card machine to have me pay. The amount was also much higher than what we had paid on the app. When I repeated the order, they said “oh, okay, here’s your food”. Weird. The second time, when the app said it was time to pick up our food, they had no idea that we had placed an online order. The man at the cash register kept asking the women at the back about our order. Judging by their reactions, it looked like one of them clearly knew about our order but pretended she did not. She looked quite nervous or scared. In addition, I never mentioned what items we ordered but they were able to guess what we ordered. We had a strong feeling they made our order but gave it away to someone else before us. After my partner went to talk to them, the staff agreed to make our order. This meant we had to wait another 15-20 minutes.

The owners of the this restaurant is often seen here running the show. They really care about their food quality and take care of their repeat customers. The Pho beef soup is one of the best around. Their other items are good too. One of my go-to's for late night pho on the Kingsway and Victoria area. I mostly dine-in at this location. Clean, well run and tasty. It has a family vibe here and it is very easy to keep coming back again and again.

Been to Truong Thanh Vietnamese Restaurant for a couple of dinners. Friends frequented this place for late night eats. Cash or debit only (they charge extra if you pay with debit).- Cha gio thit hay chay ($7.00 for 2) - not the ones made with rice paper. Filling was bland.- Pho dac biet ($14.50 large)- Hu tieu bo satay ($15.50) - broth was disappointing, watered down.- Bun bo hue ($15.00) - no pork blood or hock. Beef flank and pork balls were good but broth lacked depth.- Bun cha ca & cha la lot doc mung ($16.50) - fried fish cakes had a chewy, springy bite. Pork betel leaf were tiny but tasty.- Bun cha ca rau can doc mung ($15.50)Average fare at TT.

Went to have late dinner here last night with about 9 people, 7 adults and 2 kids and the food and service was awesome. We ordered a mix of the house special pho with spring rolls combo, shrimp salad roll, pork chop with rice (kids). Here's a list of things I loved:- food tasted delicious- servings were big for each order- high chairs are available for my 2 kids aged 1 and 3- they have kids menu available even if it's just 2 items (either soup or meat with rice)- service was fast and accommodating- price was reasonable for each dishWould definitely recommend going here next time we're in the area looking to eat Vietnamese. Next time we come, we'll try the chicken wings!Parking: Limited parking at the back of the restaurant. Free street parking available.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu and high chair availableWheelchair accessibility: Entrance might be tight but a person with wheelchair should be able to get to a table with help from the servers

Good choice for pho. Meat portions felt more generous than average compared to other places I've been for the same price.

Unbelievable. I would give a 0 star if I can.We went there around 12:00 am. The server took our order. We had been waiting for 25 minutes. We were so hungry. Unbelievable. The customers came after us got their food already. So we asked the same server where is our food. After a min or two, another younger server asked us what did we ordered. I was like?! He told us there is no order in the kitchen. The first server doesn’t have a gut to tell us he forgot our order completely. Instead, he pushed a kid to deal with angry customers. Second, no one apologize to us at all. Unacceptable. They never check on us for 25 minutes! We left right away. Not going back.
