I wanted to get a variety of mini desserts like you would serve for high tea as treats for a road trip I was taking. Lemon tart, cheese cake and chocolate types we tried and they were all great! Just the right bitesize portion. We also tried the waffle too, just be prepared it is coated with icing so very sweet.
If you want coffee that's more ethical, and better than the generic stuff you can pick up at any old grocery store, Allegro is where it's at. That being said, it's certainly not the best coffee option in the city. It's OK.

The produce and product selections are great, however I notice that the cashiers talk between themselves without acknowledging the customer.
