We came here for dinner with a reservation. We got the chicken meatball hot pot ($19.00), corn tempura ($10.00), Unagi Omelet ($18.00), Hotate Nigiri ($8.00 for 2), 2 blue fin fatty nigiri ($18.00), 2 blue fin nigiri ($13.00) and 2 sakes. The corn tempura was my least favourite out of everything. They fry it with the corn on the cob which makes it really hard to eat. The corn was also not sweet enough. The chicken meatball hot pot is pretty spicy because of the pepper but I love the cabbage and clear noodles. The chicken meatballs were really soft and delicious. The scallop nigiri was absolutely delicious. It was sweet and succulent. The fatty blue fin nigiri was melt in your mouth delicious. I prefer it to the blue fin nigiri but of course it's also more than double the price. The unagi omelet was really soft and had quite a bit of unagi in it but I wouldn't order this again. This little sushi store at the corner of 4th and alma is like a small piece of Japan. The owners are Japanese and mostly regulars come here. I love their sushi and would come back for it.

Amazing food and service. One of the best Japanese meal in the city. Highly recommend Yuji's.

If you're coming here I wouldn't recommend getting "typical" rolls (e.g. California). This place is authentic, but definitely on the pricier side (60$ for assorted sashimi "for 2 people" according to the menu but let's be real that's more like enough for 1). However their fish is incredible. I actually discovered one of my new favourite fishes thanks to this place (Amberjack-if they have it pls give it a try, especially if you're a fan of Yellowtail).Personally I think this place may be better than Miku/Minami in terms of raw fish, so if you're looking to celebrate a special occasion and like it raw (;) give this place a try, but be warned of their pricing.

You are in japan once you walk through that door beside the lantern. You can have omakase here 100 times and it never be the same.

Omigosh! This place was so yummy, I just had to order my food twice so I could have it again later ? The Black and White Sesame Tofu was amazing. And everyone there was so kind and friendly. And the food aesthetics were so cute and pretty! Wish I had taken a picture of it, but I did take a picture of the togo food! Haha

Outstanding fresh sushi - best in town. Many unique varieties of fish expertly prepared, presenting unique flavours and textures. We go often as this is our favourite for Japanese cuisine.

Enjoyed all three dishes immensely. The eggplant with mozzarella was a favourite but everything was delicious. Washed down with asahi beer. Perfect for our first night in Vancouver.

too much overpriced and not even delicious, fish and chips for 25 dollars with 4 pieces of chicken nuggets size halibut fish fried very dry. Will never come again.
