“A bit tricky to get to as the cafe is right on 32nd Ave the main route through Vernon. However they do have a few parking spots right behind the restaurant and we luckily got one. An 1130 arrival meant there was space available...but by noon this small place was full..so plan your time. We opted for the all day breakfast which was delicious...4 sausages and not the usual 2!. Covid guidelines still in place so you pedlace your order and collect your meal at the counter. The (I assume) owner seem to know everyone who came is which is a good sign for a first timer. And they take American Express. We will be back to try lunch items.“
“I don’t typically do reviews but felt compelled. I had not been to The Roster in years and I can’t believe the transformation. From the food to the activities. A buddy mentioned The Roster had a new golf sim and asked to play. It was such a buzzing place. They still have racquetball, squash and wallyball but now two golf sims and even pickleball. They have darts and ping pong too. They offer great party options with activities so going to book my next staff party there. The food is top notch. I had the best burger I’ve had in years and was great to eat and have a beer while golfing. The service was the best too. Such friendly and attentive servers. I’ll be back!“
“It is perhaps the most dangerous fast food place in all of Vernon due to its location. Police get summoned to remove violent patrons multiple times. Staff are VERY friendly here. I always see them go the extra mile to help people with mental and physical disabilities. Multiple staff members have a Vernon wide reputation for being friendly. I ate a burger here a couple weeks ago and they were busy as always. Only mild annoyance is they ask if you want to add cheese to your burger but don't indicate it's an extra charge. Overall it's fine to eat here for lunch. Lots of seating. It just has a tendency to get super busy at lunch time so not ideal for your 30 minute lunch break from work in the plaza.“
“I have gone for breakfast several times now and it’s always great! But today, today I got some of their cheesecakes. I almost don’t want to tell you how good they were because everyone will buy them all up and there won’t be any left for me. Not too sweet, very creamy and delicious flavours. I got one of each flavour to take home and they were so amazing!“
