“One of the most beautiful cafes anywhere...like being in a cozy cabin. The coffee always perfectly prepared, the pastries fresh, and brunch is awesome. A great place to relax and treat yourself...!”
“The deluxe chirashi don was so fresh and delicious. The waiter was super friendly. The green tea was complimentary and was very good. Amazing experience at the restaurant”
“One of our favorite Chinese restaurants! The dumplings and noodles are absolutely amazing easily some of the best we’ve had. Everything is always fresh, flavorful, and consistently delicious. Friendly staff, great service, and a wonderful dining experience every time. Highly recommended!”

“This is probably the single most visited restaurant in West Van for me. In terms of food, it's authentic, comforting, and well-presented for the most part. Would definitely recommend trying their specialty rolls; they're unique, well-made, and worth the price. The price is friendly for the most part, although there are restaurants in West Van that serve a similar quality of food for a few dollars cheaper. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant is great, as the restaurant is heavily Japanese-themed, with unique dining rooms, paintings, and curtains.”
“We visited Tenton Ramen for lunch enroute to Horseshoe bay. It turned out to be a great decision. The black garlic (tonkotsu) Ramen was excellent. The noodles could have been a little more chewy but the broth was rich and flavorful and the chashu was the way it should be.
You are given the option to construct your own Ramen bowl, using various options that you can pick from the menu. This includes the thickness of your noodles, the type of protein as well as the broth.
We also ordered agedashi tofu, as well as a serving of chicken karaage. The tofu was as to be expected, however the karaage was simply excellent. The pieces were very crispy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside.
If I ever find myself in west Vancouver again, I would definitely swing by Tenton Ramen!”
“Wanted a Japanese restaurant near Ambleside so we could the beach after dinner & Google Maps gave us Kiisu.
GREAT option! We both had the Premium Dinner and loved it -
outstanding & good value. Starting with the tea & misu soup followed with three good sized pieces of mixed Sashimi (tuna & salmon) The dinner box was lovely. Really nice sushi & teriyaki (one ordered w/chicken one w/beef: chicken was better.)
Enjoyed everything but the kirigi chicken was a bit too much since it came with teriyaki chicken. Personally I would had preferred a couple vegetable gyoza instead. SMALL quibble.
Absolutely would order the same thing again here. Bill for two including tax & nice tip was under $70.
A few things to love about Kiisu West: (1) On entering greeted & suggested a table but told we could choose (2) Nice airy bright room with view to sushi chefs (3) brought menus and green tea right away (4) great menu with good illustrations & descriptions.”

Outstanding service and exquisite Italian cuisine in a charming atmosphere.
It is no coincidence that reservations are recommended on any given day of the week”

“Mani does really solid burgers at very reasonable prices. We had the bacon cheeseburger and the mushroom cheeseburger — both were big, satisfying, and packed with flavour. Despite their size, they were well put together and easy to eat, which I really appreciated. The Cajun fries were great as well. Definitely coming back!!”
“I’ve been coming to Ssal Korean Bistro for lunch for years and it’s honestly such a hidden gem in West Van for hearty, comforting Korean food. Their doenjang jjigae (soybean paste soup) is one of my absolute favorites — rich, flavorful, and made with really fresh ingredients.
The staff are always incredibly sweet and attentive, which makes the experience even better every time I visit. I also highly recommend the bossam (pork belly) and the soft tofu soup — both are delicious and consistently well made.
You can really tell they care about the quality of their food. Definitely one of my go-to Korean spots and a place I always recommend to friends.”
“These people are amazing. They had fantastic/empathetic customer service and had no issues making me new pizzas from scratch & delivering them asap when my original order got lost (via a 3rd party delivery service). The pizza was worth the wait ??. Thank you again. You are my new favourite!”

“We had a great experience at Cactus Club Cafe tonight.
The food was absolutely delicious and everything was excellent.
Zavien, was very professional, friendly, and attentive, and truly made our experience even better.
We really appreciated his outstanding service and kind attitude. We will definitely be coming back!”
“I got my husband to pick this up on the way to the ferry last night, since we have limited options. I reheated in the oven quickly. It was great 👍 everything was tasty and the portions were huge, we have a second dinner tonight. We had sweet and sour, ginger beef, lemon chicken, chow mein and delicious garlic broccoli. Lady was super nice on the phone. Pick up was easy and ready at our requested time. Good work!”
“We have been ordering from Ginger and Soy for both takeout and dine in for the past several years. They produce some of the best dishes, piping hot to your door. It is a premium product and more expensive than local alternatives. It is worth it. Family members even fight over the leftovers a day later.”
“I had the Bangkok bowl with sautéed shrimp and it was fantastic. Happy hour prices from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. We hit this at the perfect time. Super friendly and beautiful staff.”
“I visit often and love the menu. Breathtaking view and wonderful service as well. It was about a week ago that I was in last time and had our fav server Austin. He is a gem! So fun and still professional”
“I had a craving for sushi and decided to stop here at Kin Sushi which I’ve been to a few times already. It’s a small restaurant with friendly staff. I ordered the Favourite sushi combo and gomae. I was served quickly and tea was also topped up regularly. Everything was fresh and very nicely plated. It’s a very popular place for takeout as guests were rolling in the whole time to pick up orders. The only knock I have was that the washroom floor felt sticky, the dining area is very clean though. I do recommend this place and will continue to come back.”

“I was recently did take out with a friend submitted a review suggesting that he received food poisoning from the food..I ate the same food from the same containers that he ate from and had leftovers the next day with another friend and were fine. The food was delicious ,portions were generous and when they forgot to put all the containers in the bag to take away i called them to mention this and they offered to add prawn and crab rolls to compensate for there mistake..i would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant..”

“From the moment I walked in, the service was exceptional. The attention given to both dine-in and takeout guests was excellent, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout my visit. One gentleman at the counter went above and beyond by helping a lady who was struggling to open the door while carrying bags. It was a small gesture, but it spoke volumes about the level of customer care and hospitality provided. A truly outstanding experience.”
“This was our first time here. We chose it because we had to have a meeting and this was a central location with some coming from the Sunshine Coast. I normally am not a fan of pizza, once a year is good enough for me. However, that has now changed. This pizza was so fresh and tasted amazing, especially the crust! I asked for light sauce and the amount was perfect. The owner was very accommodating, some wanted coffee which they don't serve, but he allowed us to pop down the block and grab one from Starbucks and bring it back to have with our meal. The regulars were super friendly and at lunchtime was pretty busy with a lot of workers coming in for lunch. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!”
“The staff here are always the best, super friendly and positive. My family and I have probably been to this location over 30 times, and we’ve only had good experiences.
Another great thing about this location is it’s a two minute walk to Dundarave beach which is great during summer.”
“Wow! Those cheese croissants! 🤤
We literally drove from Squamish just for them!
Gas prices are insanely high right now we all know this. BUT these croissants are worth the trip! THATS HOW GOOD THEY ARE!!! Yall! chefs kiss 👩🍳 😘
10 starts!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
*can’t add photo they didn’t last long enough 😂*”

“A great local spot right next to the Ferry Terminal. I ordered the breakfast sandwich and it was fresh and absolutely delicious. This is a cozy little spot and the owner and her mom who run it are so sweet. I’ll definitely come here again as supporting local spots in the community is so important. Looking forward to trying the fresh pressed juice next time!”
“I have been coming to Opa Park Royal, West Vancouver for more than 5 years now.
I always have my Calamari and Salad and sometimes I have Lamb wrap. They are so good and have become my comfort food.
A big shout out to Mr. Muneet for providing the Best service every time I go there. He is very respectful, cheerful and very pleasant to chat with!”
“My absolute go-to coffee shop in town. The staff are always super smiley, friendly, and happy to tailor your drink exactly how you want it.
As a tea person, this spot is hands-down my favourite for a proper London Fog—paired with a fresh ham & cheese croissant or one of their juicy, house-made loaves after a Saturday run along the seawall. Pure bliss.
Special shout-out to their double-shot flat white: it’s on another level compared to the big chains. You’ve honestly resurrected my faith that a tasty, perfectly-tempered (not mouth-burning!) coffee actually exists.”
“I’m usually not the type to leave reviews, but the crew working last night (around 10:57 PM!) deserves a massive shoutout. I placed an online order right before closing, and instead of the usual 'end-of-shift' grumpiness, I was met with total sunshine! ☀️
Loveleen greeted us at the door with the biggest smile and let us know they were out of tenders but had plenty of fresh chicken. She was so passionate and nice about it that I didn't even mind the swap. Then Kiran at the counter took over and was a total gem—she actually threw some extras into our bags just because!
Even the lads in the kitchen were keeping the vibes high—no banging dishes or 'angry' cooking sounds, just pure hustle and positivity. You guys genuinely made my night. It’s rare to see a team this happy and professional right at closing time. 10/10 vibes, I’ll definitely be back! 🍗🔥”
“We enjoyed the experience, mainly because server Steve was fabulous. The service was very slow but otherwise good”
“I ordered the Mega Tray A and salmon sashimi. Two adults and three kids ate until we were completely full.
The reason I love this place is that the taste is always consistent and the ingredients are always fresh. I haven’t tried every sushi restaurant in Vancouver, but in West Vancouver, I think Mega Sushi is the best.
The food tastes truly high-quality and suits my palate perfectly. I’ve never had a disappointing experience here. Even if you don’t live nearby, I highly recommend stopping by for a meal when you’re on your way to catch the Horseshoe Bay ferry!”

“Higher end cafe -girl for counter service was a bit cold for what you would expect at this type of cafe - , the cappuccino was too bitter for my taste however to note I like a really mild espresso so I’m not the best judge - the blonde haired busser boy was hard working and the most friendly of the staff working . - overall atmosphere is beautiful with marble counters and glass display cases , high ceilings with attention to detail - there’s even pattern wall paper on the ceiling - exterior patio is gorgeous wrap around with plenty of seating - came on a Friday Afternoon and had one entire section to myself where I enjoyed the ocean views. The food and pastries sound and look phenomenal but I am on diet. I will 100% be back when I’m done the diet - likely for the avocado toast I saw. Overall nice time here by myself.”
“I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The Turkish and Persian breakfast was absolutely outstanding. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The variety of traditional breakfast items was impressive, and you could tell that everything was made with great care and quality ingredients.”
“We almost didn't go in, because there were all these negative reviews about sushi. That sushi place is not there now.
Loong's serves above average Chinese food. I'm no expert, but I enjoyed it. We had the noodles with XO sauce (they subbed chicken for pork), and the Sweet & Sour Pork.
They deserve 5 stars, to balance off the irrelevant reviews for the former sushi place, that used to be at this address (get your act together, Google).”
“The most delightful food and people that you will find. This is an absolute treat and repeat!
It’s so nice to know that places like this are still around.. everything made fresh to order, authentic, and absolutely delicious.
The portions are big! A large will feed your family
The owner is a amazing guy”
“The food is great for someone who enjoys authentic Japanese comfort food for a budget-friendly price. Food such as teriyaki, udon, and yaki noodles are probably the lowest priced in West Van, and they deliver in terms of taste. The specialty rolls are decent, not particularly flashy or expensive, but they're fine in terms of comfort food. Overall a good place to get some authentic food after hours.”

“I stopped in here on a rainy Thursday morning to grab a latte and get some work done. The place has a classic neighborhood cafe feel with a cozy setup and a big window looking out at Marine Drive. It was quite busy with locals, but I managed to find a small table in the corner. The coffee was hot and the muffin I got was actually pretty fresh. I’d definitely stop by again when I'm in Dundarave and need a caffeine fix.”
“The staff here are helpful. I was looking for a low sugar option and one of the staff members gave a great suggestion of a new sugar free raspberry mojito refresher, along with an iced protein coffee - with half oat milk, and a pump of sugar free vanilla. Super helpful, delicious and both drinks were the price of one drink at St@rbucks! Highly recommend :)”
“We don’t live in West Vancouver, but my husband and I have been going to this location because we enjoy seeing Lovely Vishu and the delicious pizzas she makes. She is very pleasant and puts a lot of care in what she does. Thank you Vishu for making our experience special!”
“Good day and well wishes for 2026 to the great folks at this location.
May I start by saying that I had the best egg&cheese muffin paired with an even amazing Americano ☕️ - kudos to the connoisseurs behind the scenes!
On a different note, I am saddened and slightly annoyed at some of the tone-deaf and negative reviews about this location. My work experience in the service and quality assurance industry has made me resilient to subjective behaviour, but this one takes the medal 🏅 The over-sheltered and pampered individuals who disliked the service, taste and temperature of their cafeteria food not being able to meet their inflated standards, could have easily communicated eloquently and asked for a little more to make their experience better - a simple smile, a different food item or correction to the order may have been more helpful; kindness will only come back as kindness.
Finally, the purpose of Google reviews is to help the public make educated and friendly choices and not to be subjected to an individual's frustrations. Peace ✌️ and Praise 🙏”
“The shift leader May is kind and friendly. Actually I am new to Canada and didn’t know the menu at Dairy Queen but she explained every items to me patiently and I am sure she got another loyal customers as well! I will come back again for her friendly service. And the blizzard is delicious.”

“I have been a fan of Merchies coffee for many years. I thought they went out of business when the store I used to buy at disapeared. Then my son got me some Merchies for xmas a few years back I was so excited to find out there were still around! . I wish they would open a store in Chilliwack. I now order my coffee on line . I am in Heaven with my morning coffee now. Merchies Best ...is the best!”

“My first experience with this place was 2 bites and into the garbage. Flavourless sludge. I read all the latest reviews which said pretty much the same thing as experienced tonight. Staff yakking on the phone or talking to each other while they leave you waiting. The toppings on my tacos were a joke. They just threw it together without a clue. Maybe a cultural thing as they were not Latino and had no pride. Zero meat. This is the first time I have bothered to post a bad review about anything. I have been traveling Mexico for over 45 years and built 4 vacation rentals in a place called Yelapa down the coast from PV and this place is a blight on the landscape. I dug”

“Fellows that work at Park Royal/regular staff have the best skills in "Customer Service" Today was exceptionally busy and every customer was afforded the time to get their drink correct I appreciate their efforts every time I go there! I am soon to be Platinum Customer!”
“Best service I’ve ever received in my life the manager Rambo was so sweet and made my whole family feel so welcome. Our waitress Grace was so polite and on top of everything. I’ve had other team members mess my order up badly and when I go back to get it fixed Raman is professional and quick about it!
