The fish and fries were great! They even had a gluten free beer for me. ( no gluten free fish and chips ). “Spent the afternoon in lovely White Rock. After a walk along the pier, we felt somewhat peckish and happened upon Docks Fish and Chips.The server and the free sunshine were top notch. We ordered the two piece cod F&C. The fries were fried to a perfect crispy, golden brown. The fish was so fresh it was flopping inside the batter.Great experience save the absent coleslaw. But, a healthy double up on lemons and Tartar saved the day. All in all, kudos to you Dock’s. Will be back with bells on.“

“Finally decided to give this spot a try! Our server Alexis was AMAZING! Such an amazing server, so friendly, goes out of her way, so good with all her other tables too! The hostesses a brunette and blonde were incredibly unfriendly and didn’t smile once, even while we were there. We got worried our server would be rude but Alexis was great! The food is okay but not great. I was hoping it would be better than Cactus at least but it wasn’t and Cactus is a chain restaurant with delicious food every time. The dill wings didn’t taste like dill although the crunchiness of it was great! The coconut prawns and the gyozas weren’t anything special, tasted average and similar to frozen packaged food. I’ve definitely had better at other restaurants and $90 for 3 appetizers, a main and 2 sodas was a little steep only because it was very average food. The Haven Burger was decent! We would definitely come back to try other items next time only because Alexis was awesome and we’d come back for good service like that. But please tell your hostesses to be friendlier and smile. We were there for an hour and they battered a smile maybe ONCE with a colleague.“

It was our first family meal with our young baby, and the atmosphere was spacious, quiet, and comfortable, and the whole family was satisfied. The steak salad burger was also delicious. I recommend it because it’s a place I want to visit again.“

“As a healthcare worker 16 hour shifts, I really wanted to step it up a few notches and recieve the whole nine yards with the going out to dinner experience.This was a home run, my niece and I showed up to the front door where Shannon opened the door for us and greeted me by name ( per the reservation I made online). That was the start of a wonderful relaxing and fully catered to dining experience. We went all out with the 24 oz porter house, the sides, the cocktails, the desert. Everything just delish!!!And very calm quiet atmosphere, beautiful inside. We were given hot towels for our hands after all said and done. We were never hurried to pay, or felt like we were holding people from leaving to get home.Vegetarian options: The roasted Brussels sprouts.
