On Sunday, April 20, Gus and Marty’s, a brand-new Greek-American eatery in Williamsburg, will celebrate Greek Easter with its first-ever Easter Roast. There will be two two-hour seatings of the $85 menu, available from 12 to 2 p.m. and 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.
In addition to house-made pita and dips, spanakopita, marinated seafood salad, chicken souvlaki with sesame chili crunch, zucchini fritters, lemon potatoes, and of course, a lamb carving station featuring marinated leg of lamb, chargrilled onions, and house-made tzatziki, the Easter Roast menu also includes Tsoureki, a traditional sweet Greek Easter bread baked in their wood-burning oven. For dessert, enjoy a walnut cake topped with spicy mascarpone.

Sometimes, ya even bump into the woman herself!!! Sylvia is absolutely delightful, charming and intelligent. If you’ve not been, definitely start with enchiladas!! I like “The Alice” but it’s not always on the menu….. ask anyway….. nudge nudge!!
