I was surprised to see the outdoor patio dining gone. During the summer it's a great place to eat and when the weather isn't so nice it was covered and so attractive to be seated under. I'm going to miss that area that's now taken over by parked cars. The food was good last night, but waiting for a table was a bit horrendous and a long wait which isn't usually the case. Phillipe was trying hard as he's the owner.
Cafe Bijou is my favorite local restaurant. The food is great and the service is always excellent. I love the steak frites although it is hard to keep fingers away from my plate because everyone at the table wants to share my fries. The filet mignon is always cooked perfectly. The fresh berry, fig and goat cheese salad is incredible. Last night we shared a creme brulee for dessert and it was excellent. The $2 corkage fee is a real deal maker and the prices are very reasonable...read full review

Great venue to gather with friends for dinner only. We arrived soon after opening, and the place quickly filled up with happy dinners. I had the blackened salmon and highly recommend it. We ended the meal by sharing three of their classic desserts.
