Loved the chicken sandwich and the loaded fries. The sauce on top really adds to the flavor. I keep returning every time I'm in LA because there is always a 10/10 meal for chicken lovers. The chicken is tender and fresh and the mild or spicy option is delicious. They have crinkle fries which I'm my opinion is the best. Make sure to get extra of their house sauce because it's awesome. Great chicken sandwich. Had the Original Cuckoo Sandwich with slaw on the side, garlic seasoning. It was delicious. The worker who took our order was very friendly and answered all our newbie questions. I would go here over the chains. I love supporting small businesses.

After moving into the area and trying out a few places around, I became one of the regulars at Cuckoo Rooster. The food is amazing and is made with cage free, no antibiotics etc chicken. At this point the owner knows my name and my order. We talk about korean shows and she has taught me a few korean words. I will totally recommend this place to any one. My favorite is the delux cuckoo sandwich with garlic seasoning.
