Their food never lacks flavor and they're very kind and sweet to their customers. The setting is also extremely welcoming and they appear to be extremely clean as well even having separate containers for touched and untouched pens. Just overall amazing. I've even put in the effort to learn a bit of Korean to thank them for a consistently delicious food.

I love the ramen here! Most of the time we order out but the couple of times that I have eaten in the service has been good. Comfortable ambience inside. Definitely recommend!

Delicious and great service. We tried the galbi and the spicy pork bulgolgi. Both were yum.

Ramen here is either great or meh and seems to depend on the day. In theory there are only 10 ramen portions available a day, but I've not seen it run out which may explain when it's meh :-(. Other dishes are consistently

Go to for Korean bowls, kimbap and tofu stew. Everything is fresh and cooked to order and tasty. They package everything nicely. We ordered chicken wings, kimbap, beef rainbow bowl, japchae, and beef tofu stew. So glad they are in Alameda so we can get our Korean fix. Maybe they can add tteok-bokki too!

Tried and true. It's been years since I've been here but the food did not disappoint.

I've eaten at this place several times and it's just ok. It's good and nothing to make you say Wow. I decided to stop by after work and get some dinner. I saw they had ramen, pork ramen. So I ordered it. I was the only one in the restaurant. It took over 10 minutes to get my ramen. I've had ramen from other restaurants and it took less than 5 minutes. So when it arrived, I smelled the ramen and I could smell that instant noodle condiment. You know those little foil and plastic packets that you add to the instant ramen. And I tasted it and I definitely taste instant ramen. And when I saw the noodles, it was definitely instant noodles. I knew it right away. I've had many real ramen and the broth have a very rich and full flavor taste. This ramen broth has an artificial taste and more importantly the instant ramen taste. The egg didn't have that soft boiled egg with the runny yolk. It was an awful attempt of the typical soft boiled egg you get at a ramen restaurant. I called the owner and politely asked the owner if the noodles were instant noodles. And he said YES. My heart sank. I knew then and there I ordered a doctored instant ramen that cost with tax over $15. His explanation was this was Korean Ramen. That's BS. When you order ramen, we as diners expect using fresh ramen noodles. There's no doubt in my mind they used the instant ramen packets. There was no richness to the broth, the richness you get from making ramen stock that takes hours. This place used instant ramen condiments and then doctored it and passed this off as restaurant quality ramen. It's again as I stated, doctored instant ramen. Sad to say I will never go back. It won't surprise me if their Korean potstickers (Mandu) came from Costco or just frozen potstickers that came from a store.

The food is fresh and tasty. The broth used in the raman is nourishing and true comfort food. The servings are generous and the most important thing; the people are kind and helpful. They will adjust the spice level to suit. I highly recommend BB Bowl!
