TL;DR - Excellent selection of quality fish.Hashi Gawa is a very good "middle-tier" sushi restaurant. They don't serve mediocre sashimi and huge sushi rolls like lower-tier restaurants that cater to the masses. And they don't provide a fine dining omakase experience. A very solid place for sushi! We visited on a Tuesday night and found the restaurant was quite busy for a weekday. I would definitely recommend coming earlier to avoid a wait since the restaurant itself is not very large.While the sushi was amazing, some of their appetizers were a miss like the soft shelled crab (was not fried well and slightly soggy) but the hamachi collar was amazing. First time eating here. Sunday night for dinner. Restaurant was full and as they called our name, they asked if we were ok to be seated at the bar area instead of a table or else we would have to wait more. We opted to be seated at the bar. My partner got the chicken teriyaki entree (salad and miso soup were given prior); large portion of chicken. I ordered sushi. Super fresh and tasty. Looking forward to coming back for more!
