Always Uber eats this place. Food is good and portions are great! Their salads are bomb!

It's a neat place, a lot cleaner than what it used to be a few years ago the last time I went. Unfortunately for me the flavors were lacking. The chips were just meh but the salsa was delicious. The steak and the carnitas were both very under seasoned and usually that's how I like my food but this lacked a lot. The watermelon drink was good though, the service was just OK. The lady who helped me was fine but the guy seemed annoyed.

The burritos are tiny for the price. Not particularly tasty either. Definitely nothing high-tech about it. The place is clean but small and service is almost non-exist. The ratings seem hyped up or the management must have changed.

Tbh I didn't expect much when visiting high-tech burrito, from purely the pictures on Yelp, reviews and the walking by, I though this would be another chipotle/ Americanized Mexican spot, lacking flavor and authenticity. But let me tell you, I was very wrong!! Don't let the name throw you off, this place has so much charm and their staff so helpful and kind. the flavor are delicious, good quality meat, and char flavor that adds so much. Service: the staff here is amazing. Even though it's a very fast-food walk setup, the cashier and staff are warm and amazing. My first time trying this spot the kind lady in the front walked us through their various refreshments (Agua frescas). She personally made them and they were delicious. I especially like their spin on the original horchata, they use coconut milk (b4 all the traditional and OG grandmas fall off their chairs and yell out in outrage, hear me out, it is different (even the lady admitted) but it's very appealing - try it, I didn't like it at first taste but it's really good the second time around. Anyways, more on to the food. I primarily go there for the tacos, my favorites has to be the Al pastor with slice of pineapple. Meats perfectly season, juicy not dry, and has a light flame kissed delicious ness. Also grilled pineapple, tortilla, onion and cilantro. Simple and delicious!! Street tacos are the way to go. Steak tender a a great cut, nice flavor, not as flavorful as Al pastor (of course) but the cut is good and delicious. Chicken (yum), shrimp ehhh, I can skip, has rice in the tacos, not my cup of tea. They deliver consistently delicious tacos and drinks every time I visit. The staff is kind and helpful. Honestly to sum it all up, don't let the decor and name throw you off, this place has some authenticity.

This is my 2nd time ordering here and this is my last. Today ordered a bean (black) and cheese burrito. Felt horrible afterwards. Tasted metallic like from a can, not fresh.

I just tried high tech burrito recently and was surprised by how good it was. The menu is so vast that I was skeptical at first but the food was really good and made to order. I tried the quesobirra tacos and they were phenomenal. The shrimp burrito was also really good, the shrimp was very flavorful. The street tacos are also a must have. The customer service is really good and they are quick to get your food out. You can dine in or take it to go. They do have seating inside and the Blackhawk location has seating outside as part of the shopping center. I recommend eating here if you are looking for Mexican food in the Danville area.

HTB has been around for over 25 years. I used to eat here frequently years ago, but I stopped going since I noticed a big decrease in quality and an increase in prices. I heard it got much better recently, so I decided to give it another shot. I was pleasantly surprised. The food quality, portion sizes and prices were good. I've been ordering the bowls and I like them better than Chipotle. I'm glad that they are in the neighborhood, because there aren't that many good food options around here.

Worst customer service! Rude employees. Highly over rated. Dry bland food. Will charge extra for even small things like sour cream.
