2 stars because the service was good. The food, however, was terrible with a capital T. I ordered the chicken Tikka with saffron rice. There was very little chicken and what it had was not fresh to say the least, so they had to smother it in some mediocre sauce which included wilted vegetables. The saffron rice wasn't saffron. It appeared to be white rice with some orange slivers of?. At least the beer was good. If you want a fresh ingredients with real Indian spices and taste, go somewhere else. You'll just throw your money away at this establishment. Its a shame that the city of alhambra would allow such a poor restaurant in their downtown area.
